The visual demarcation of the electoral districts was taken from the excellent Redistribution of Federal Websites, but this is primarily a graphic representation which may not be entirely accurate around the edges. 14 à L.A, le 1er juin c'est 1h du matin le 2 en France. La conférence de EA va commencer. Le fabricant des Sims a choisi l'Orpheum Theatre, sorte de mini Grand Rex avec des dorures et un rideau un peu kitsh. Un bon millier de journalistes et du public ont rempli la salle en 3 minutes. La présentation commence par la bande annonce de Dante's Inferno, sorte d'heroic fantasy néogothique en dolby surpuissant. Bluffant. On continue les trailers avec un court extrait des Sims3.

Petshop

Après c'est l'annonce des sorties de deux nouveaux Petshops pour Wii et DSi, mais cette fois-ci on pourra jouer en ligne et évidemment télécharger des jeux. Quatre gamines de 8 à 12 ans viennent faire une démo sur scène. Franc succès...

Toujours plus fort, plus vite plus réel. Vidéo à suivre.

Toujours la lutte contre le mal qui fait mal.

Sauver l'humanité. Epuisant mais superbe mis en scène.

Et puis c'est au tour de la division sport de EA de nous présenter ses jeux. On refait les combats de Cassius Clay avec Fight round 4, et Teambuilder va permettre dès juin de constituer en ligne son équipe idéale de football américain. Et puis, pour nous amateurs c'est le programme d'entrainement Active de EA sport. Dans la vidéo, des témoignages de ménagères de moins de 50 ans qui ne font plus que ça comme sport.

Grand slam tennis

Le vrai Pete Sampras vient rejouer un set de Wimbledon, et se fait battre sur la Wii par le démonstrateur. Vidéo à suivre.

Yesterday I was picking up a customer for Hertz (my cool little apres-mail carrier job) and noticed these goofy little fellows all over this yard across the street. Only had a minute to shoot them, but will return when I 'm not working to check it out more thoroughly. I'm a sucker for good kitsch.
