I'd seen these awhile back posted by overoften, but had never seen any in person. On the way to the 02.20.2010 FTPS Hama-Rikyu meet-up, I found some in the Utsunomiya JR station. Didn't want to carry 'em around with me all day, so didn't pick any up. Can't tell you what they taste like.
Next time I roll through, I'll try to grab some. As much as I hate being blasted by Nestle's god-awful flavor combinations, this one just seems a bit too unconventional to pass up.

I LOOOoooooVE raspberry !!! Needless to say, I was stoked to find these. However, reality bit me in the @$$ because these things are horrible. Between a friend and myself, one small chocolate thing was consumed. Hasn't been touched since then (just yesterday (05.30.2007), but still.
Definitely pass on these. Nasty nasty NASTY.
Apparently this one's sweetness is a bit subdued. I'd had it around for long enough that I thought the taste kind of was ruined (forgot it in a closet when I moved). Friend ate it and she thought it was just fine. *shrugs*
The Kitkat Chocolatory Moleson is exclusive to KitKat Chocolatory boutiques in Japan, and features a luxury combination of cranberries and almonds.

I actually had decided to give up the KitKat bit last night (or maybe it was today). I've got so many shots of KitKats that I haven't even put up... just blah. Maybe it's because there are so many different people out there covering 'em now, they don't seem like such a novelty to me anymore. Maybe it's just because I'm an inveterate Gemini and get bored with everything .
I was at the store minding my own business, picking up a fluorescent light and some dinner when I saw THESE . These rotting, festering pockets of pus calling to me. I actually said out loud, "You've GOT to be kidding me! What is WRONG with these people? " I'm assuming no one around me knew what I was saying, but even if they did understand, they probably had no clue as to why I said that.
Lemon. Vinegar. WTH??
WHO in their right mind would EVER mix those two things? I s'pose all of you mayonnaise/ketchup/red wine-lovin' ppl are probably thinking a "lemon vinegar" KitKat's a good thing. Oy.
I bought it because I couldn't believe it. Kind of an affirmation that it exists- whereas had I not bought it then, I might doubt its very existence.
Too tired now to try the godawful-looking stuff. Makes me almost throw up in my mouth thinking about it.
And I know that my KitKat arch-nemesis, he'll be over here tootin' the horn about how WONDERFUL they are. Sick people, all of ya! (Just gettin' that outta the way ahead o' time, because I know it's comin').
And yeah, I'm on a tear tonight. Watch out.

Found these a bit ago @ 7-11. Didn't feel that I need to actually buy it, though. Bad enough I buy all their wacky flavored stuff (even tho' the majority of it's bad).

61% Cacao KitKat that I found at a 7-11 in Sapporo.
It's smaller, but higher content brother is HERE.
Frozen KitKats. Dark Chocolate. Not bad, but since I'm not a big fan of bitter chocolate, I won't be buying anymore anytime soon.
Kind of a crap picture because there wasn't enough ambient light in my living room when I took the picture (and flash washed it out too much). Since it's just a KitKat, I wasn't going to worry about picture quality that much.
I want to say that these were brown and white striped KitKats. I should've taken a picture of the backside of the packaging as it showed the striped candy.
(12.03.2008 note: For some reason, this is one of my more popular photos. Unthinkable.)
My friend Gaijin4Life picked this up for me on his recent trip to Abashiri, Hokkaido.
Mr. Gaijin seemed to like this one more than I. Bit on the sweet side- nothing fantastic. Definitely take the Yubari Melon over it anyday.
KitKat from my Japanese friend !
1. Cheesecake flavor
2.Green Tea flavor
3. Apple Pie flavor
4. Dark Chocolate flavor
5. Milk Chocolate flavor
Found in Hong Kong. As I hate all things with even the remotest hint of coffee flavor, I didn't bother wasting my money on this hideous concoction. A simple photo and off I went. Business attended to. So it took me awhile to UL it. So sue me :P
My bird, Kitkat, is so precious...
Yesterday, I was bored of studying for midterms, so I pulled out my camera (of course). She was slowly dozing off, but noticed me there with my camera... She loves posing for me for some reason.
I love that she had her one leg up the whole time, and finally ended up falling asleep :)
Opened the bag and an odor of caramel hit me like a Mack truck. I don't know I've ever run into a kind o' KitKat that put out that kind o' smell.
Can't say that I care for these. I must be gettin' too old for this because they're just too darned sweet. Never really had a huge liking for caramel in the first place, so that doesn't help.

Found this @ SanKus on Rt. 275 heading into Sapporo. Didn't expect to see this one here in Hokkaido, actually.
Can't say that I'm a fan of this one. While it's not horrible, it's pretty darn sweet. Once is enough for me.

Maccha (ceremonial green tea) Milk KitKat. With fancy coloring to boot. What can I say?
Usually I eat all of the KitKats in a package when I open them, but I only ate half of these last night. Just weren't that good. Weren't bad, either. A bit sweet, but nothing that I'd be going out of my way to buy. Coloring is cool, tho'.

One of the billion KitKats that I've had here @ the house, but never UL'd. Might as well start workin' my way through them since Boing Boing/NPR/CNN readers came knockin'.
Haven't tried this one, so can't tell you if it's good, bad or extremely ugly.
My friend Gaijin4Life picked this up for me on his recent trip to Abashiri, Hokkaido.
I've had melon KitKats before. Always liked them a lot. Haven't been able to find any for about a year or two now. Having tried this Yubari (name of a specific melon-growing area in Hokkaido) KitKat, I can't say that I'm impressed. It was ok, but didn't make sparks shoot out my butt or anything. Makes me wonder if my recollections about how good the "old" melon KitKats are a bit skewed by time.
again with the bossy white chocolate kitkats. Ok - i'd eaten the bit that said batteries before I realised it had writing on it... so I felt I had to make up for it.
