PROJECT ON LEGO IDEAS!

Hi Guys! If you would like this model available as a set please support it on Lego Ideas! It would mean a lot to me 😉
The whole project is named; and will eventually feature 3 different designs!
They are all based on the same kinetic mechanism. First one is the undead dragon skeleton, this time it is an underwater serpent, and the last one is yet to be decided 😁
As always, hope you enjoy!

Seeing these mating Crane Flies immediately brought to mind Alexander Calder's kinetic mobiles. Calder was trained as a mechanical engineer and as a an artist he later revolutionized the fine art sculpture with his suspended and standing mobiles. Was the humble crane fly his inspiration?
It was fascinating to watch the crane flies perform their arial acrobatics. So delicate, they were barely visible with the naked eye. Please view large.

This is just a pretty face in the garden. It whiles away the hours on windy days spinning around in circles.

My red truck was old and tired, so I left her to the grease monkeys. This shiny new bright blue model suits me much better.

These things fascinate me. I have two small ones at home, but the ones in the image are huge. Cloudy day outside Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe, NM.
Delivering death from above, one rod at a time.
This again took me way longer than anticipated, but at least it somewhat fits into the common theme of this month, at least remotely. The 120° segments on the front and functionality aspects made this interesting to build and something completely different and new for me, too.
