An image of two of the kids from the Lahu Tribal people who live in the hills north of Chiang Mai . This was not posed the two girls were some distance away and I took it with a long zoom which meant I had to crop the shot a lot . I am quite pleased with the result nevertheless. I particularly like the expression of the girl on the right.
The Lahu people originally lived on the Tibetan plateau and migrated gradually to Yunnan. They probably began moving into north Thailand in the 1870s or 1880s under pressure of Chinese domination. They were nomadic in the past, they finally settled down in villages and are nowadays sedentary, making a living from agriculture and farming. The traditional religion of the Lahu hill tribe is polytheistic though many are now Buddhists or Christians . The Lahu people are a strong independent and very diverse ethnic group who number about 60,000 in Thailand. The Lahu are located primarily in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provinces, but can also be found in considerable numbers as far south as Tak province. Their settlements are usually remote from roads and towns, due to their strong commitment to the maintenance of the Lahu way of life

Grafton, where scenes of the movie - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - were shoot (Utah); ghost town.
A few mornings ago I was struggling and having a difficult time. After I managed to push myself to get out of bed I noticed a piece of pink fabric lying on the floor that was cut in the shape of what looked like a jagged heart (some of our children enjoy sewing and making creations from fabric) and a little while later I got my camera and took some “kids were here” pictures of it before picking up the fabric scrap. This little moment of noticing this “kids were here” evidence and capturing what I saw was meaningful and helpful for me.
look at the kid's face how happy she is.
the entertainer brings out the happiness from others.

I want to be a kid again. So much joy. So many adventures. So much play.
Recently I went to the city of San Francisco to give a photo class. We walked in the Ferry Building and along Embarcadero to learn various composition techniques. A low angle shot can highlight the subject.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the curves and color balance.
