Nouveau Tutorial sur les Textures

Tycho Brahe Planetarium is placed at the end of the lakes surrounding Copenhagen. It's not the most pretty area because of the modern building but somehow like this shot I took. The building was considered looking very cool in the 90s, it contains an Imax cinema showing 180 degree 3D movies mostly with educational purpose about space and live on earth, and a museum about space.

Check out this mini review I made of all Fujifilm gear I ever tested on my blog.

Gang Gang Cockatoo (Callocephalon fimbriatum)

Male Hooded Mergansers floating on my local pond.

30x40cm watercolor on Arches paper, from my series "Words", 2003.

The beginning of a stormy night

A quite challenging picture to take due to the wide dynamic range.

In the end I bracketed 3 exposures and blended them together to take full advantage of the highlights and shadows

I like the mix of agricultural crop..barley I think..and the poppies and wild flowers.

At the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War the poppies have particular significance.

This shot was taken about 7 1/2 years ago in December with an old Sony NEX-5N.

Most of the time this end of 2nd Beach called (Surfer's End) in Middletown, RI is filled with local surfers. For whatever reason on this morning no surfers had ventured out. Too cold!!

Heritage revealed. We can't hid the Conrail heritage of this pup, but even further back, we have it starting its existance on the New York Central. I'd wanted to do some night photos of this for awhile, and finally got to it. Some graffiti was removed in Photoshop.

Thank you for the Explore 24 May 2015 and all your views & faves.

There are two Disney Store Limited Edition Brave items that were first noticed on the US Disney Store website on May 14, 2012, but were not part of the new arrivals group. In fact, when they were first noticed (by browsing on keyword 'brave') they were both already sold out. By next day, they were already not searchable by keyword (but the pages were still viewable via a direct link or product code). I wonder whether these were actually for sale at some earlier date, or are merely placeholders for a future release.

The items and web links to them are as follows:

This young eagle upstart was brave enough to try nabbing a few bites of, if my memory serves me right, a bison carcass mostly submerged in the ice. There's that whole idea of experience keeping us from bad decisions yet only being gained by questionable decisions… Well, this eagle was about to learn one of those life lessons. The ravens kept pecking at its heels every time it tried to get into the tasty meat. After five or six tries in the windy conditions, the eagle ended up giving up and leaving the ravens to their prize.

Beautiful angle statue at Frederiksberg Cemetery. It's a little bit forgotten and is falling apparat. It's placed on a family grave with the text "H. Baggers Familie Begravelse 1860".

A combination of 12 exposures.

4 sets of 3 bracketed exposures at 2ev settings.

Each set of 3 exposures blended using "merge to HDR" in Lightroom .

The 4 sets then "merged to Panorama" in Lightroom.

The resulting big file then processed to my liking.
