Keystone, South Dakota
Constructed between 1899-1901, it served local children until 1988 when enrollment had fallen to 8 students. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now houses a museum. It overlooks the "old" part of Keystone--the "non touristy" part.
History:
The Keystone B-6A was the last biplane bomber purchased by the U.S. Army Air Corps. The conservative Army leadership was slow to accept new design concepts in aircraft construction and tended to favor traditional and proven designs over radical unproven ones. This resulted in a design stagnation of about 10 years. The basic design and performance of the B-6A was little different from the Martin NBS-1 ordered in 1921.
The acceptance of the single-wing bomber would be slow. The B-7 and B-8 bombers were ordered in 1929, but they were originally designed as high-speed observation planes. The conversion to the bomber role was done while the prototypes were under construction.
Some Keystone bombers remained in service until the early 1940s, serving in secondary roles such as observation and reconnaissance.

An amazing view of the southern Rockies in Colorado. This was shot on a weekend retreat to Keystone ski area. With clear visibility for miles and miles, the mountain range looks spectacular. This was a perfect day for winter sports enthusiasts to spend their time on the slopes of Keystone, and for me - to spend some quality time enjoying the beauty of the mountains!
A while back we took a 2006 Keystone Raptor 3612DS in on trade. This is a huge toy hauler with a big garage and a really spacious floor plan. It is also a heavyweight trailer with three axles. If you are looking for a serious used toy hauler, you need to have a look. A keystone is the wedge-shaped stone piece at the apex of a masonry vault or arch, which is the final piece placed during construction and locks all the stones into position, allowing the arch to bear weight.(Wikipedia)

Sample of the "keystone" wiring I've decided to use for the A/V and LAN connections. Here is a two hole plate in the third bedroom wired with one Cat6 ethernet and one RG-6 cable input. I like how they're turning out. Next up, every single dingy electrical outlet, light switch, and HVAC register.
