Key West, a U.S. island city, is part of the Florida Keys archipelago. It's also Florida's southernmost point, lying roughly 90 miles north of Cuba. Famed for its pastel-hued, conch-style houses, it’s a cruise-ship stop also accessible from the mainland via the Overseas Highway. It’s known more for its coral reefs – destinations for diving and snorkeling – than for its beaches.

I decided to go to the way back archives -- this is 2007 -- a visit to Key West. I shot these with a 5 MP point & shoot, but I think with this new plugin from Topaz Labs, I've given them new life as paintings. Opinions welcome. I probably have a whole set of these KW images here somewhere, done as photographs.

Another Key West landmark and a fun spot to grab a cold drink on your walk down Duval Street! We were there for the annual Meeting of the Minds with the Parrot head club from Tampa, and this particular venue had gathering of popular trop-rock songwriters music day which was a highlight of our visit.

BW and manipulated versions just prior in my photostream. Posted below- another framing of this view, different shot. I thought it worked better with more of the palm tree showing, but now the palm looks too large to me, and seems to leave the eye stuck too much on the tree. I'm not sure. I welcome all critical feedback. Love paying attention to how my eye flows through images and moves, and what works better than others.

This is what i drive for a living, making me a key worker during the COVID19 shutdown,
Usually i am on a contract for Bentley Cars, however, during this period i have been moved onto a contact with Nestle delivering anything produced by Nestle to Supermarket RDC.
My hobby is Railways and Photography, however during this period of uncertainty, i will only be getting a photo if it is on my way to or from work without having to deviate, or if i can do it by going out on my bike once a day as i am a keen cyclist.
Remember to Social Distance and most of all Stay Safe.If we all stick to the guidelines then the sooner we as a nation can beat this and return to the daily activities we all enjoy.

it's been a rainy day today and I always feel unsuccessful if I don't post at least one photo on here per day, so I was literally walking around the apartment trying to find something to photograph. Better luck tomorrow!
Margaret Keys is an Irish Classical crossover soprano who recently signed a 4 year deal with Universal Records. She was a primary school teacher for four years in Ireland before taking a career break and entering the music industry. She has a Masters degree in Singing and Performance from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
She has performed extensively in Ireland, Great Britain, North America and Australia. She has also participated in musical theater productions (including Broadway) and vocal workshops. Being the recipient of the New York Artist Award and the BBC Fame Academy Bursary, Keys was privileged to work with acclaimed stars, producers and directors from Broadway, including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. Her musical theater repertoire includes, amongst others, Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, Les Misérables, Mary Poppins and Carousel.
