This is an example of the FDC01 camera on vivid color mode... I was walking while taking this and it was rather dim inside so the light streaks were due the lighting situation.

It's been a while that I don't take my camera off to some shots. I have to make more use of it, hehe.
These first three images in the set are from a Bell&Howell Mini Digital Camera i picked off of ebay for $5 shipped.
It's the same shape, size, design, and function as the one "hipstreet" one i bought at futureshop, but the images and the imaging system differ a bit, I think. This one takes much longer to 'beep' after i press the shutter button than the hipstreet does, and I find that the image quality is better in lower light with this, and it is consistently nicer even in bright light. But it also seems to drain the battery much faster.
So even though they are practically the same, I guess there are still software differences across mini-cams. Not surprising, given that they don't even use the same driver or import software.
The best close up I've been able to get was of an iPad screen showing a conversation about the subject on Flickr. I wasn't reading the screen as I took this, so it was truly ironic.

Those last few feet, people actually speed up and sprint just to get inside.

Raining outside. Pacing indoors, I looked down and saw my basket of pine cones. I think of walnuts when I look at this image. Maybe it's just me.
