I haven't played with my VQ1005 for a while. I took it out in Denver and shot a few things. I believe this was the library downtown.

I've been sheltering at home to avoid Covid. So not much new stuff. This is from a few years back. I took it with a digital Vivitar keychain camera and then used an editing app called ToyCameraAnalogColor to give it color like a film shot. Hence it is a shot taken with a toy digital camera edited to look like a toy film camera.

my new baby came in the mail from Japan.

this tiny toy camera is from Superheadz (Tokyo) and is about the size of an ice cube.

It takes 110 film and is known as a "sister holga".

Made with a keychain 110 format film camera. Thank you, Thomas.

This is a mini keychain digital camera. It is a mini digicam which was produced sometime during the early to mid 2000s. At the time digital cameras were still farily expensive and small digicams like this allowed people to get their feet wet in digital photography without spending alot of money. Technically it is an early 2000s camera phone, without the phone.

Like most mini digicams of the era the picture quality is farily lackluster. The resolution is about 0.3MP which produces a rather grainy image with dull looking colours. The camera itself contains 2 megabytes or internal memory (which cannot be expanded). In "high resolution" mode the camera can store 20 pictures, in "good resolution" mode 40, and in "low resolution" 80. To retreive pictures from the camera you would have to connect it to a PC and use driver software to download the images. This software seem to work best with Window XP, and refuses to work on Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10.

happy bday, you pineapple head....

Mission district in San Francisco, CA. I usually put in the whole sign. But the little $5 digital camera I was using often gives you less than the viewer shows. However, I liked this composition and the color shift the camera gave (the sign is really more of a deep red). Palm Clix digital camera.

Mission Disdtrict, San Francisco. Cheap keychain digital cam. Colors bumped up.

I hadn't been to the Fourth of July parade in about 5 years. What was sad was that there were far fewer Shriner clowns and guys in cartoon character suits since the last time. Taken with the Vistaquest VQ1005.
