What strikes me most about my keychain is the lack of traditional keys compared to other "smart" keys and gadgets.
An alligator claw keychain from Florida. American Alligators are not endangered. These items were produced using alligators that were raised on alligator farms.
I picked up a Plo for cheap at LEGO's Black Friday sale. Since I don't have him in mini-figure format, I decided to try my hand at removing the keychain.
The only tool I needed: A pair of needlenose pliers/snips. I cut off the top ring, then trimmed the screw down to the top of the torso's neck. There's a small divit on Plo's head where the screw went through it, of course, but you really don't notice it if you're not looking for it.

Updated keychain. At the center is a Nite Ize S-Biner Microlock (locking mini-carabiner). The upper arm has my car keys, with a Photon II microlight, old NYC subway token, and a safety pin (not visible). The lower arm (starting left and going counter-clockwise) has my house key, Traser glowring, Swiss Army Knife Rambler, P-38 can opener, Fenix E01 flashlight, Bison keychain capsule.
