This is the previous Plovers inseparable companion. They worked the same beach up and down feeding, never getting more than several feet apart. This image shows the "sewing machine" style of feeding, probing deeply and rapidly, helping with the id. They are more commonly found in coastal areas than the Long-billed. (Hope the id is correct)
