I like the way the light is being pulled down from the misty canopy onto an unknown and magical forest guarded by the gate keepers to what lies beyond.

One of the many lighthouses that dot various points in the Gulf Islands. Most are now automated and the grounds kept up for appearances. Not sure about this one, but it looks like a fine place to live and work. Taken from a de Havilland Otter.

Trying to keep on my blue and gold theme while radically changing landscapes.
Once upon a time in a far, far away place under a night sky, the little Star Keeper is quietly at work. She has just plucked out another beautiful shining star from her box full of moon and stars and is making her way to the ladder. It is a very tall rickety ladder, that reaches all the way to the moon. The little Star Keeper climbs that ladder every night to hang the twinkling stars for all to see.
