Members of Beyond Extreme Energy (BXE) held an action outside the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) headquarters in Washington DC on June 25, 2018, as dozens of BXE members and allies rallied around two of their fellow activists who perched on platforms on bamboo "gas drilling rigs" and laying an inflatable pipeline on the street blocking the entrance to the driveway to FERC's employee parking lot from 7am to early afternoon, successfully preventing them from accessing the workplace. WASHINGTON DC, USA -- Sunday, May 15th, 2016. Hundreds of climate activists protest at a rally organized by the Break Free movement against fossil fuel projects. Demonstrators went to the streets at the nation's capital to protest in front of the White House, calling on the decision makers in Washington DC to support the transition to renewable energy instead of coal, oil and gas energy.
Break Free 2016 is a week of coordinated direct actions that target the most dangerous fossil fuel projects, in an effort to keep coal, oil and gas in the ground and accelerate a just transition to 100% renewable energy. Thousands of people all over the planet are putting their bodies on the line to send a message to polluters and politicians that we need to break free from fossil fuels now.

On May 25, 2022 more than 100 New Yorkers on the frontlines of the climate crisis, including faith leaders and youth, held a protest outside BlackRock Headquarters in Manhattan, where their annual shareholders’ meeting took place. Participants and speakers at this event demanded that BlackRock exclude companies expanding fossil fuel production from its active and passive funds. Art build for the Clean Energy march - Sane Energy Arts team were invited to make art for the inFRACKstructure contingent for the March For a Clean Energy Revolution. We have spent many hours having listening sessions from our grassroots colleagues on what messaging needs to be highlighted. Similar to our 50 foot United States of Fracking banner, we worked with legendary graphic novelist Seth Tobocman again to bring to life the story to life in a 13 part piece of art that will be carried high above the march to tell the story of fracking.
