This is another shot that I managed to salvage from the roll of Fuji Velvia 100 I shot while at the beach a couple weeks ago. I really don't think the picture does this sunset (or the film) justice since I had to overexpose the picture because it was so dark. Anyways, this was the last day of our vacation. We headed up to Sea Pines to check out the Light House there. Wow, the light house was super hot inside, but what a great view from the top. After coming down from the top we decided to just hang out and watch the sunset, so I snapped a couple pics.

Those who pre-registered for the free kayak ecotours provided by Visit Palm Beach at LagoonFest took to the waters of Lake Worth Lagoon and paddled toward the nearby South Cove Natural Area.

A kayak is a small, narrow human-powered watercraft typically propelled by means of a long, double-bladed paddle.
The word kayak originates from the Inuktitut word qajaq.
In British English, the kayak is also considered to be a kind of canoe.
The first kayaks were constructed from stitched seal or other animal skins stretched over a wood or whalebone-skeleton frame.
Western Alaskan Natives used wood whereas the eastern Inuit used whalebone due to the treeless landscape.
Kayaks are believed to be at least 4,000 years old.
