Thinking what it should :)

Mahishasura was the grandson of Brahma Rishi Kashyap and Danu and the son of Rambha, the king of Asuras. Mahishasura's father Rambha was the king of Asuras.

Once Rambha, the king of demons, fell in love with an nymph Mahishi, he married her. Mahishi was cursed to become a buffalo. Therefore, when a son was born to Rambha and Mahishi, his name was Mahishasura (Mahish means buffalo, buffalo-like demon).

Mahishasura inherited many powers from his parents, he had a special power by which he could transform from a human to a buffalo or from a buffalo to a human at any time (you can also call him wish-fulfilling buffalo).

Mahishasura grew up to be a very powerful demon and also became the king of demons. Now he wanted to become the king not only of the underworld but also of all three worlds including heaven. But it was not easy for him to face Indra Dev, the god was extremely powerful.

Mahishasura was a great devotee of the creator Brahma. To become more powerful than the gods, Mahishasura pleased Lord Brahma by doing severe penance.

When Lord Brahma asked him to ask for a boon, he asked for the boon of immortality. Lord Brahma told him that it was not possible to give this boon because the boon of immortality is given in very special circumstances and to special personalities.

When Brahma ji asked Mahishasura to ask for another boon, Mahishasura said - "Lord, then give me such a boon that no god or man can kill me." He thought that anyway a woman cannot conquer me and God And if men cannot kill me then consider that I have become immortal.

How did it originate and die?

Mahishasura also received many more powers from Lord Brahma and became much more powerful. Brahma ji also left from there saying Amen.

What happened next, Mahishasura became very arrogant after getting the boon. Now he along with his demon army invaded Devlok i.e. heaven. With full preparation, Mahishasura attacked heaven. Devraj Indra, the king of heaven, was not completely prepared for this war.
