Unlike the teak forest of Pench, Sal trees (Shorea robusta) predominate in Kanha and the fresh green leaves and open meadows made this possibly the prettiest of the four parks we visited as well as giving us our first tiger sightings of the trip.

T27 or popularly known as Dhawajhandi female, she is now nurturing her second litter. When we came across her, she was looking for her cubs. Unfortunately we could not see the cubs.
