Who can tell where the journey of this rock began...

This is Lake Como, alias Lario. The town you see on the other shore is named Abbadia Lariana.

Shot this during the lunch break, to get to this spot takes just ten minutes of driving from my work place.

Straight out of the camera.

Now I know what have known all along: so called "perfection" is sickening.

Which is why when shooting digital I always tried to make it natural as film in appearance. Yes a nudge here or there after but not always.

This is why I bother.

Yes this is now a digital scan of film and a jpeg after all.

No other way to get it up here. (Pentax KX) solid and sure as it gets.

I started to think about the path to follow and small points on the map before I reach some bigger goal.

This is one of my favorites shots ever, because of the sentiment to those mountains, because I like its natural, simple beauty. It's so calm.

My Pentax KX coupled with an SMC Pentax-A 50mm f1.4.

It's been a while since I played around with my HDR program, so I thought I would use it on a photo that needed a little extra help due to the blaring down sun. I usually do not HDR my waterfall photo's, but this was the only way to make this shot work.

A rose, by any other name (or in any other form) would smell just as Sweet....

Un classique de nuit vraiment pas si évident que ça a réaliser .. (évidemment ça ne donne pas autant que les échangeurs japonais ..)

I confess: island codes are always a highlight for me, especially the Greek ones I love to "collect". Of course, it's not easy to see any, because Greek cars usually have an Athenian origin. I was all the more annoyed that I lost this car a few months earlier in heavy city traffic and couldn't catch up with it. Fortunately, I was able to forget this inability when I rediscovered it during a city walk in the new year and got my longed-for photo. :-)

I'd had an early evening fotting session here and this was my taxi home to Peterbrough!

Happy days.

Not used my 'Free' Asahi Pentax KX for a long time. It was a gift from a Camera Club member who had tried to sell it to Ffordes Dealers and they returned it as 'Not Working' so I had a look -- I noticed the Aperture Activating Ring in camera throat was stuck so I applied ONE DROP of OIL and pulled it and it moved and has been working ever since !
