The biggest collection of krises from Warsaw arrived to our Oriental Museum. I was lucky to sketch this fabulous Indonesian spiritual dagger that symbolises a creeping magic dragon naga. I had three hours in front of this treasure (museum workers allowed me to put a chair in front of a showcase).
The handle was made wood-like with red twigs and ochre bark. End of a handle is in the upper-right corner of a drawing. The blade has pamor pattern made with meteorite nickel.

Driving in the car near Uffington, Kris and I spotted a wicked corn field and stopped to grab a couple of photos in the sun.

The Georgia State Capitol, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an architecturally and historically significant building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition, it is the working center of Georgia's government. The offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Secretary of State are on the second floor, while the General Assembly meets on the third floor. There are also visitors' galleries and a museum on the fourth floor.
Architecture of the Capitol
Like many state capitols, the Georgia State Capitol is designed to resemble the Renaissance architecural style of the United States Capitol, in Washington, D.C.. Completed in 1889, the building was designed by architects Willoughby J. Edbrooke and Franklin P. Burnham, of Chicago, Illinois. The building was constructed by Miles and Horne, of Toledo, Ohio. Sculptor George Crouch executed all the ornamental work on the building.
Kris Fairchild was on an underwater kick at the moment, so she continued to work on a new piece in that theme while waiting near her booth

It has some pretty impressive old trees. So stay warm and remember July, LOL.
