Skulehuset vart bygd og teke i bruk. Lysinga etter lærar stod i Norsk Kunngjørelsestidende alt 30. juli 1922: «Losna og Dingen Kredse med henholdsvis 18 og 16 Uker udelt Skole. I Losna Kreds er fra Høsten nyt Skolehus med Lærerbolig. Paa Opsigelse.» Søknadsfristen var sett til 20. juli.
