This monk was more than happy to pose for photographs by passers-by. What you don't see is the bullhorn he had in his hands used to make announcements, presumably about prayer services and such (or maybe fottball scores, who knows?).
Wat Chalermphrakiet is littered with statues of monks who are said to have performed miracles in the past. This particular one caught my eye because of the 3rd eye on his forehead like Lord Shiva.
A rice boat passed the north eastern side of Kokred near our restraunt. The boats themselves are of course home to the workers, and are well equipped with facilities, including sometimes satellite TV.
