Returning through Hazel Grove and Poynton, I caught up with the other 391/392 duty, and yet again it was an Arriva Enviro. I presume the other Metrocity was parked up for the driver's meal break, so maybe that makes this a slightly less common sight - and there are daffodils to look at as well !

Introduced at the Smithfield Show, London in 1960, as a universal tractor, retaining all the features required by rowcrop farmers. Only diesel power was available from a four-cylinder ohv of 137.89 cu.ins. indirect injection engine producing around 40hp and manufactured by the Standard Motor Co, Coventry (the same engine as used in the earlier Coventry built Massey Ferguson 35 tractors). The ED 40 tractor was the last model made by the UK subsidiary of the American Allis-Chalmers Corporation before the plant at Essendine, Rutland, was closed in 1985

This Peugeot 206 CC from Romania, was travelling along the M20 motorway. I haven't spotted many 'foreign' 206 CC models at all, so seeing this was quite nice actually. I presume the car has had rear damage at some point, given the mis-matching bumper/trunk. The car was registered to the Romanian capital, Bucharest.

Here is the Spider & the Fly Nebula, also known as IC 417 (Spider; at center) and NGC 1931 (Fly; at bottom). Also in the image is NGC 1907; the small, tight cluster on the left. The bright area of nebulosity on the upper right is the edge of NGC 1893, the Tadpoles Nebula.
They are located approximately 10,000 and 7,000 light-years respectively from the Earth in the constellation Auriga. These two nebulae are composed of massive clouds of gas and dust and is an area of new stellar birth. The gas in the nebula is excited by a clusters of massive, relatively newly formed stars located near their centers.
This area within Auriga is home to many deep sky objects, as the Milky Way runs right through the center of the constellation.

Matthäus Merian st., Frankfurt na Majni, 1649.
papir, bakrorez; 208 x 329 (242 x 354) mm
PPMHP KPO-LZ 2708
– 1687.) i Caspar (1627. – 1686.).
