Knebworth House is an English country house in the parish of Knebworth in Hertfordshire, England. It is a Grade II* listed building.[1] Its gardens are also listed Grade II* on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.[2] In its surrounding park is the medieval St. Mary's Church and the Lytton family mausoleum. It was the seat of the Earl of Lytton (also Viscount Knebworth), and now the house of the family of the Baron Cobbold of Knebworth.
Lapse of our camper at a show in Knebworth yesterday. I love lapses but I get bored after about an hour of standing next to the tripod.
Flickr wont allow me to upload in full resolution? any ideas why?
I have slightly reworked this image ready to be printed on aluminium 1.2M wide to be displayed in my lounge on the chimney breast. Images for the wall at home I find need to be shots that you can "live with" long term. I prefer simplistic uncluttered images that have strong interconnecting shapes.
I have used White Wall for the printing
Best car in show especially when the sun shone through and the paintwork gleamed. Stunning vehicle - 1958 Chevrolet Corvette.

.The home of the Lytton family since 1490, when Thomas Bourchier sold the reversion of the manor to Sir Robert Lytton, Knebworth House was originally a red-brick Late Gothic manor house, built round a central court as an open square. In 1813-16 the house was reduced to its west wing,[2] which was remodelled in a Tudor Gothic style by John Biagio Rebecca for Mrs Bulwer-Lytton,[3] and then was transformed in 1843-45 by Henry Edward Kendall Jr. into the present Tudor Gothic structure.[4] In 1913-1914 it was leased for ₤3,000 per year by Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia and his morganatic wife Natalia Brasova.[5] Its most famous resident was Edward Bulwer-Lytton, the Victorian author, dramatist and statesman, who embellished the gardens in a formal Italianate fashion. Much of the interior was redesigned by Sir Edwin Lutyens, who simplified the main parterre. A herb garden, with an interlaced quincunx design, was drawn by Gertrude Jekyll in 1907, although not planted until 1982.
Kindly posing by her Fiat, car dates from 1997 and has an original engine not modified 1242cc, the interior was impressively upholstered in colourful material.

Got be be honest here - had to rack the photo angle as there was a chap bending over in the car top left {red door open} with his backside facing the camera ruining the shot. Didn't spot it at the time.

Image info :- used the portrait feature on iPhone 11 Pro Max and you can edit the photo after taking it to say increase the aperture which "blurs out the background".
So this is now f/2.0
Of course this is a little fiddle really within the iPhone s/w as it also blurred his collar to a certain extend. But it is not bad considering the limitations of the cameras in mobile phones.
