An unusual aspect of the development is a new high end retail area to be called The Village. Building on experience in attracting high end retailers to its Australian malls, developer Westfield hopes to attract black label brands unheard of in the London shopping mall market.

Comic aficionados may recognize this homage to The Big All American Comic Book from 1944, which inspired Alex Ross's cover for the DC Comics 9/11 Volume 2 cover. So having Mr. Ross's KINGDOM COME in this piece kind of makes things come full circle.

Regretfully, I never got the blue plastic Ideal Batman Helmet Cowl the kid seems to be wearing. Thank the maker for eBay. Maybe someday I'll break down and get it. With my luck, I would get one some kid threw up into back in 1966.

Pity kids these days. They don't have the kind of heroes like they had in the 1950's. Hopefully, the guys at DC Comics will do a George Reeves as Superman bust. They should do one in black and white, and another in color (a two pack would be awesome).

Olympus Thursday.

Ancient Egyptian or Thanagarian, whatever. He looks like an god so that's good enough for the weekly mythological-ish photo.

My no.1 Batman figure, awesome old man.

I love this Art Deco style suit so much~~

The site is part of the White City district, where several other large scale development projects are under way or in the planning stages. The development is on a large brownfield site which was once the location of the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition; the initial site clearance demolished the final set of halls still remaining from the exhibition.

More from my

multitude of magically

macabre and beautiful

photos of my fellow Angelenos

adorned in the

masks and colors of

Dia de los Muertos, the

Day of the Dead - some 11,000

people came to Hollywood

Forever cemetery in one of

the most amazing events I have

ever attended in Los Angeles or

anywhere; walking among the

tombs and tombstones and

even inside the mausoleums where

like Valentino and Peter Lorre

and other stars and

civilians alike -

and outside near the grave

of Joe Frisco, who is me,

or I am him, I should say, or

perhaps I shouldn't,

and also Marion Davies

and Hattie McDaniel, Tyrone

Powers, Douglas Fairbanks,

Peter Finch, Johnny Ramone

and my dear

friend Mauricio Saravia.

It was like Christmas for me

on 5th avenue with a light snow

falling only in Hollywood among

graves and with such beautiful haunting

art all around me on people's

faces and more.

Superman Forever Statue by Alex Ross. My favorite Superman statue to date.

Westfield London is a large shopping centre in Shepherd's Bush, London, England. It is also the biggest in-door shopping centre in Europe. The centre was developed by the Westfield Group, at a cost of £1.6bn, on a site bounded by the West Cross Route (A3220), the Westway (A40) and Wood Lane (A219), and opened on 30 October 2008.

Kingdom Come State Park, with an elevation of 2,700 feet, is the crowning jewel in the crest of Pine Mountain near Cumberland, Kentucky. Admire the beautiful views from one of eight overlooks, hike a trail or fish for bass, crappie and trout in the lake.

Named after the popular Civil War novel, "The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come," by Kentucky author John Fox Jr., the Kingdom Come State Park preserves 1,283 acres of unspoiled wilderness.

Some of the most extraordinary rock formations in the state are featured at this park, including Log Rock, a natural sandstone bridge, and Raven Rock, a giant rock exposure that soars 290 feet into the air at a 45-degree angle!

Kingdom Come. Donna Troy becomes Ambassador of the Amazons and although she isnt immortal like her sisters is still super strong with bracelets to deflect bullets and can fly.

Well... there it is. The first time I saw Metallica live. I was a wee 13 years old. I remember they played 2 "new" songs that were going to be released on And Justice For All. It was all addiction from there. Metallica is the best live band in the world.

This relatively Last Son of Krypton, Superman.

You have to take into consideration the inhabitants of The Bottle City of Kandor, any possible survivors from Argo City, any male prisoners in Phantom Zone. In any event, Superman is not really the "Last Son of Krypton".
