FORAGING in low scrub, rather warbler like, picking and hovering from the underside of leaves, Was told of this uncommon bird to the Kotu area, and have to admit to spending more time looking or waiting for an appearance, than any other bird on the trip, but it did put an appearance just for a few seconds, would have loved to have got a side image, to show its full beauty.

Because of the low water in the reservoir this summer we are now able to view the old gunpowder hut which is just above the water on the left of the image, The stone built hut was built in the 1900s for use of constructing the reservoir between 1903 -1911, The reservoir was officially opened on the 11th of July 1912 to provide clean drinking water to the people of Stockport, Cheshire.

Saana is a fell in Enontekiö, Finland. Saana's summit lies 1,029 metres above sea level and 556 m above the adjacent Kilpisjärvi lake. Geologically it is part of the Scandinavian Mountains, and is made of the same kinds of schist and gneiss rock. The mountain was historically considered sacred to the Sami people. The peak is a popular destination for hikers and backpackers because of the sweeping views offered at the summit.
Kilpisjärvi is located at the very northwestern point of Finland.

This is one of the "pillars" at Pillar Falls, Idaho.
I shot this photo last year, and just couldn't get happy with it. I'm not sure I'm happy with it now but, figured what the hell and why not.
Pillar Falls is located in central southern Idaho right at the base of the city of Twin Falls. Home to all kinds of crazy adventurers like Base jumpers jumping off the Perrine Bridge and Evil Knievel's failed attempt at jumping the Snake River Canyon on a rocket bike.
It is a familiar site to all those that canoe and kayak to Shoshone Falls just a short distance upstream as Pillar Falls is a portage location on that trip.
For those interested in a sense of scale There is a man standing on his boat fishing in this image. Right edge of frame at the waterline.

And with all the tragedy happening all over the world, what should I say about it?
But what is happening in Myanmar continues to shake my heart. In the face of the tragedy of the world, what I can do is too small. I always feel helpless.
Still, I commend the courage of the Myanmar people to march unarmed toward the army in search of freedom and peace.
I happened to get this flower from Skinny the other day.
I've had this Banksy idea for a long time, but the coincidence pushed me back to make it.

Postscript Note
There has been a coup by the military in Myanmar and the democratic government has been sealed off. People are protesting without weapons, but the military is pulling the trigger on them and killing their own people. And those who are seeking peace are being violently arrested and tortured. This is the kind of unreasonable and inhumane oppression that happens in dystopian movies.
Yet people continue to protest without weapons for peace and freedom. Under the threat of COvid, of course.
The military regime often shuts down the Internet and restricts journalism. We cannot know everything that is going on in Myanmar right now, but the world must continue to watch what is going on in Myanmar.
