Could this be Kate Maria Durbin, my great aunt, who died in Ceylon. Is the photograph on the desk her father Edwin Durbin who died in 1906? This photograph is owned by my cousin Ann Conway

A few folks have asked about the processing of this pic: Turned the color temp down a bit (Was too warm/red), and adjusted levels to get white balance where I wanted it for her shirt. Dodged/burned to get the Vignette/ darker boarder. In this pic, her skin/eyes/teeth were not softened or retouched. That's all her.

Kate came over to the studio the other day to try some pinup stuff. I've done pinup once with some good results. Kate is in the process of putting together a great pinup portfolio so I was really excited to work with her. I think we managed to get some great results.

Hot off the presses from today's shoot! I've really fallen in love with these hard light looks - these girls are just to fantastic and can take anything you throw at them.

Lighting was a single Profoto head on an Acute2 1200 pack with Zoom reflector from roughly 15' away and high.
