I like people! Don't get me wrong, but it's quieter in winter, and I like that too. You can take the time to enjoy the scenery and perhaps stop for a photo without having to worry about an impatient motorist following too closely behind. Not many people about in today's snowy weather, which suited me just fine.
Drones have made shots taken from high above very commonplace, it's really made it hard to do an interesting roof shot unless your a crazy Russian guy using your bare hands to scale skyscrapers.
I'm not an adrenaline junkie like that - the 6th floor Coleman Garden on top of the National Gallery Singapore is justfine for me, and come September, this will be an awesome spot for watching the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix as it runs past the front of the Gallery.
This grassy area beside St. Andrew Road is the lawn of 2 posh downtown clubs - the Cricket Club and the Recreation Club In the middle is a public access road that anyone can use, and these 2 chaps were in the right place at the right time for me.
Sorry for not commenting.... I have been busy hunting down jobs... Have received some invitations to apply for jobs, which is a good thing.... Part of this job hunting will probably include setting up a website called "GiveDaveAJob.com" LOL

i got a roll of film developed today. i cannot say i am proud of a single shot on that roll. i don't know what happened. maybe it was the film.
on that roll was 8 more strangers for my project. i am torn as to whether i should upload them and include them in the project or not. i was so happy with my first five.
today.
should not.
have happened.
and yet, tomorrow, i have to wake. i have to wake, and think, and breathe, and speak, and function. this is what is expected of me. even though my head is aching. even though i can't form a sentence. even though...
but i am. just fine.
So I like what I see when I’m looking at me
When I’m walking past the mirror
Don't stress through the night, at a time in my life
Ain’t worried about if you feel it
Got my head on straight, I got my vibe right
I ain't gonna let you kill it
You see I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just…..
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh

this was the entrance to the house with its urns and suitably flowing vines
I had great hopes until i saw the queue at the top of the stairs... it was going to be slow moving
there were historians at every turn ready to give a spiel.
for a downright hectic day, there were some parts that went even better than I could have expected.

On our second big day of vacation we headed out of the city on a food-and-wine tour that ended up being totally amazingly awesome. The second stop of the tour was in an eensy little Medieval walled town, where there was pretty much nothing going on but this fabulous wine shop that set out an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting. We were left on our own at this point to buy many tasty items, as our fabulous tour guide had to go in search of tissues for Pookie, the kind of value-added service this fantastic tour had to offer. You see, Pookie turned out to be violently allergic to Tuscany, so she maybe doesn't have as fond memories of this part as the rest of us do. Poor Pookie.

My mum took lots and lots of pictures today. I don't even know what she really looks like I think she has a camera face! Oi!
Anyway she got the brilliant idea to make a little story out of a few of them so it looked like Penny knocked me over - but she didn't really. We were just playing a wrestle game. My mum thinks some things are so funny, like putting photos of me up on Flickr that are totally humiliating!
I just wanted you to know I was perfectly all right, but my mum embarrasses me sometimes!
Luv,
Ghillie
