I found some nice things in there! The dolphin is a pleasant surprise: I've wondered where it was. Its head lifts off to reveal a starfish deep inside. I've now moved it to a bookcase with other figurines. A penlight that still works! Sea glass collected at the shore years ago. A large paper clip (I can never find one when I need it) and a shiny penny!

Macro Mondays theme Junk Drawer

Every drawer is full of junk!

This is a little bracelet on top of a shiny beaded girraffe key ring that was made by my daughter probably about 18 years ago when she was 6 years old. How can I ever throw them away?

I got a bit overwhelmed with this theme - every drawer I openned is full of junk and I spent way too long trying to tidying up and chucking stuff away!

The width of frame is 5cm.

Theme for 'Macro Mondays': "Found in the junk drawer"

When I saw this Monday's theme, I rushed to my junk box, rummaged around and was amazed when this glittery piece appeared at the very bottom and at the very back. I wore these cheap glass earrings as a schoolgirl in the 80s until I lost one. Never expected the second one to still exist! 😁

The area covered in this picture is about 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.

Stuffed in a junk drawer is this old cotton reel. One Niqui had from her grandma, now long since passed, but kept as a keepsake to her memory. The safety pins we've accumulated over the years and kept for that 'just in case' moment.
