Day 47 of my 365 Project.

Today was a beautiful sunny Sunday in Sydney. The temperature was well above the average for this time of year. It was so warm the beaches had to call in additional lifeguards to handle the crowds. It was a beautiful day/

We went to a birthday party for a friend's little girl. She turned four. It was a great party and reminded me so much of my own childhood parties. We didn't have jumping castles back in the day, but we did do the pinatas and the pony rides. It was a great party, spent with people who are like family to us. We don't see them nearly often enough, but when we do, its great!

After the party we spent our afternoon chilling at home. We laid out the quilt and laid in the yard. Here is me and best girl, Georgie. God, I love this dog. When we got Georgia in February it had been nearly 18 years since I'd had a puppy. The last six months with this dog have been great. I enjoy her every day.

Just been to a Xmas party for children whose parents have aids or they themselves have aids or are orphaned. A wonderful jumping castle, Father Xmas with presents and hot dogs to follow. What a wonderful morning for everyone. This is Father Xmas's list on my shell. Don't knock it, it worked.

Is it just me but do these things have a sinister overtone?

This was the girls' dessert table, complete with one birthday cake for each of them. We had a jumping castle, made balloon animals, and played carnival games. The kids had a blast.

Every year for most of January we are blessed with the Sydney Festival. Amongst the fantastic array of shows of all kinds there are a host of free events, installations and various novel uses of public space. This year one of those free things was a life sized scale inflatable model of Stone Henge in Britain. It was a jumping castle. This young lass had just gotten off and was awaiting her friends to join her. I think she got bored of it faster than they were. You had a wait a fair while for a ten minute turn and I'm pretty sure she got off quite quickly, as I'd only just noticed them swapping sessions.

This is not a modern Charlotte's Web, though it does involve a pig and spider. We met Peppa Pig at a Brisbane fair and Spider-Man was incredibly excited. Even better? The jumping castle and Fireman Sam concert that followed our chance meeting.

This boy stopped rushing and dashing and throwing and jumping for just a moment tonight so I could snap a photo. Shortly after this portrait, I became a human jumping castle. Yay.

Another weekend, another fete, another jumping castle...

More rain today, the whole world is soggy and luminous green. Bits of thunder in the background or should I say blackground. Chloe and I on a mission this morning collecting parcels from the Post office, always a task that requires the greatest amount of patience - money from the bank, books from the bookstore, food from the foodstore. To my surprise the post office was filled with old acquaintances, the lady who saw to us gave Chloe a sweet which was much enjoyed. We then found the revolving door in the bank which gave Chloe a great thrill, the lady in front of us gave us the change we needed (so we didn't need to wait). In the bookstore Chloe stroked the poster of the dragon and pointed out 'the beautiful tower' aka Wire Xmas tree with baubles. We then had tea together- well actually Chloe had a very pink milkshake. When the waitor came she said 'have you said thank you to the waitor gwanny?'. Then we gathered the food and found the jumping castle. A most satisfying morning. I hope your day was as good as mine.

Fun for kids! Children love these bouncy castles, that allow them to jump and laugh so much! Candid shot of children playing at a school fair. Kids have to take their shoes and hats off to use this Inflatable Jump Castle.

Well I know Christmas is over now but as I was unable to access flickr for the past two days I am posting this late. I hope your Xmas was wonderful. I have a little story for you, about Chloe and Christams. Before I tell it though I just want to tell you that I will be away for about a week, I am going to the river to regulate my rhythm to the tides,. So I hope you have a good and happy New Year.

It is drawing closer to Heilig Abend. Chloe and I went to a Crib service aka a happy birthday Jesus party at the church. There was a jumping castle, there were cookies and icing, a star that danced into the church, waving of flags, cupcakes with candles that could not be blown out, lots of little people tearing around the church and all Chloe could ask was "where is baby Jesus?" and neither the wise man nor the star could show her the way. We did eventually find baby Jesus in the manger in the church and she stroked his face. Coming home was a let down becasue she jumped straight into the bath with her sister who decided to do a poo in it just as they had settled and were comfortable. This is life.

Okay here is the fairy princess cake made by Claire, Chloe and me. It was a valiant attempt, so far from perfect but I think its okay. There are two cakes underneath there, the top one using the mould my grandmother, therefore Chloe's great-great grandmother used even before WWII. I know the Barbie............! her feet are firmly in pink icing, I hope she hasn't lost her shoes (no actually Claire packed her into clingfilm).

It is raining in buckets so there won't be a jumping castle instead there will have to be indoor games in the garage - 20 children and 25 adults. Oh help!

One of the quirky highlights of Sydney Festival 2013 will be Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman's Rubber Duck.

The Rubber Duck - made of a PVC material similar to jumping castles - was constructed in New Zealand by a company that specialises in sewing stadium rooftops and large sails.

He's about 15m high by 15m wide and he's about 18m long," Mr Jessop said of the duck.

It took three people three weeks to sew it - it's about 6km of stitching.

Twenty-five to 30 minutes is all it takes (to inflate), that's using four blowers.

Spectators won't notice it from the shore, but the Rubber Duck, weighing in at 500kg, will be sitting on a 10-tonne barge, hidden by the surface of the water, to ensure it doesn't take flight in the event of high winds.

Just getting the duck into the harbour involves several tug boats, the opening of Pyrmont Bridge, plus a break in the monorail service.

We recently purchased this Blast Zone Rainforest Rapids inflatable water fun centre for a 2 and 4 year old combined birthday party. The two year old had no problems accessing the slides and quickly learned to climb up onto the top of the slide.

Rainforest Rapids was certainly well received with all the kids having a real blast over the two days we had it erected. Keeping the big kids (young and not so young adults) off it was the biggest problem.

The unit is equipped with a blower at the rear which maintains a constant pressure in the unit. A garden hose connects to water sprayers above the 2 slides lubricating them while simultaneously filling a low pool at the base which allows for lots of splashing fun on a hot day. A mesh net above the top of the slide prevents children climbing out over the top. This is a very necessary safety feature.

Setting up and inflating was very easy taking only 2 minutes to inflate once out of the box and positioned. The unit is approx 4.9m (16') wide by 4.6m (15') long.

I would recommend placing a ground sheet under the unit so as to avoid the need to clean the bottom after use.

Deflating took a little more time (approx 10mins or so) with added actual packing up time due to the need to pack the unit away dry.

Up to 4 adults are needed to assist with folding the unit up. The unit will likely need any internal water drained through 2 rear vents. This was not difficult as we were able to place the unit on a slope. Once the water is emptied from within it was important to allow the unit to thoroughly dry right out inside by keeping the air blower circulating air through the unit.

Any water not removed could lead to mould accumulation which could in the longer term damage the unit.

The manufacturers recommend that children between the ages of 2 and 12 only should use the jumping castle and under adult supervision. (Weight limits recommended are 45.45kg (100lbs) per person and a total weight of 363kg (800lbs)

Don't believe the advertising blurb which says it packs up into a sleeping bag sized bag though.

More likely into a large hotel linen sized bag approx 80cm x 80cm. Be sure to have an adequate sized dry place to store the unit planned before considering purchase.

XMAS 2018 😎💖🎉😁

The unit is still in good condition with no tears or punctures. It was erected for a few days at Xmas 2018 but as the kids get older it is used more by visitors younger children than ours. We would consider purchase offers.

I attempted a vertical panorama of the front of this church. It warped slightly. I like it better this way.

It was on for young and old, as the skies above a majestic and very busy Bondi Beach came alive with hundreds of kites of all shapes and sizes from locals, as well as international kite makers and flyers.

The event officially started at 11am and finished at 4pm, but folks stayed for hours after.

Kites were the main drawcard and both beginners and professionals had a field day, as did the public at large who took it all in. Delta and Free Form kites from the Australian Kite flyers Society members were all the rage, as well as kite designs from India, Malaysia, China and Japan. Personally I loved the giant whale, dragon kites as well as the more arty ones.

Sure, the Festival Of The Winds may be focused on the kites, but today had so much to offer. There was the beautiful weather, big waves, jumping castles, craft workshops, green goon and Captain Cook types dressed to the nines, magic displays, Aboriginal dancers and storytelling (Freeman Dancers from Wiradjuri Nation), Brazilian martial arts dance routines, and my youngsters just loved the unofficial beach wrestling and football.

It was also a photographers dream come true for many keen snappers. I personally took over 200 photos which captured a modest amount of the action.

Waverley Mayor Sally Betts told media prior to the event “Bondi Beach’s sky will be infused with colour with hundreds of kites swaying in the ocean breeze. There are some amazing kites - in the past we have seen a lobster, shark, dragon, cartoon characters and flowers floating above the beach and park.”

“Now in its 33rd year, Festival of the Winds is a definite crowd pleaser attracting professional kite-makers and flyers as well as novices as it’s the only time in the year you can fly a kite at Australia’s most famous beach.”

“Anyone can join in the fun! If you don’t own a kite there are kite making workshops or you can buy one on the day.”

International guests included Peter Lynn from New Zealand and Janneke Groen from the Netherlands.

It’s worth stopping by the the Bondi Pavilion Gallery where there is an aerial art exhibition. The good news is that it will run to the 18th September. Michael Richards is the curator and he did a fine job. The exhib showcased a cross-section of kites from across the globe.

Locals seemed to think that between 100,000 to 150,000 people attended The Festival Of The Winds today and its a safe bet that today was a stand out for Bondi Beach.

We’re looking forward to doing it all over again next year. Well done to Waverley Council and to everyone involved with putting on a fantastic festival which was world class all of the way.

Not just fit and finish, Pango make a second blower tube and hide it if not use. We make the two tubes on different of the bouncer so that could fit the power location. Looking down the road you will find you need a second inflation tube. We want to make sure clients could use the bouncer convenient.

Stronger Baffles

Baffles that are secured by a 840 denier material that provides the MAXIMUM strength of the internal baffling of every inflatables. This material upgrade is unmatched by anyone else in the industry. This material is key to the overall durability of the products we sell.

D Ring Expose

Take a close look at the construction of the "d" rings in the products we sell. A tether system is only as strong as its weakest link. Tether points on the inflatable are extremely durable. The "d" ring tethering System have been laboratory-tested and certified by Professional Engineers for use on all giant slides and all other types of inflatables.

Vinyl(PVCTarpaulin) Expose

At Pango Inflatable, the only products we sell are constructed from the finest coated vinyl. Unlike other vinyl producers, the Coated Vinyl are Lead-Free in addition to meeting the EN71 test by SGS. Lead-Free vinyl are a standard that has been that way since day one. Exposure to lead is dangerous to children. The products Pango Inflatable sell are safe from the effects of lead. As for durability, the materials are a weft inserted substrate, which makes any possible rips virtually impossible.

No Wax Surfaces

We provide removable sliding surfaces for every slides we made, While other only provide the normal vinyl, Inflatable vinyl is not naturally slippery, therefore, waxing has become a normal preparation for getting a slide ready for use. The removable sliding surface found the on the products we sell is a high polished urethane coating, which in turn reduces the need to wax.

Zipper with Flaps

Unlike others, Pango Inflatable sells products that are easy to use. For example, the deflation zipper utilizes a Velcro flap that covers the zipper, thus, less air is lost and zippers are not exposed to abrasion or mischief.

Blower Tube Strap

While most manufacturers tie their blower inflation tubes to the blower system, however, the products Pango Inflatable sells, utilizes a universal sleeve with a cinching Velcro strap. One- handed operation keeps the tube securely attached to the blower system.

Liquid Laminator

DWe do the Digital Printing in our factory, unlike most factory here in China, they do the printing outside and could not control the delivery time and the quality. igitally printed graphics are one thing, keeping those beautiful images durable as well scratch and fade resistant is quite another. Every digital image used within an inflatable sold by Pango Inflatable is clear-coated with a special liquid laminate that is vulcanized to the vinyl surface.

Finger-Safe Netting

Most bouncer manufacturers use 1" or 2" netting. A child bouncing can easily catch their fingers in that size of netting, thus serious injuries can happen. Only the Pango Inflatable could provide netting that even a small child's finger cannot penetrate. Yet, the netting is still transparent enough to allow for easy viewing.

Removable Covers

Virtually every area that your customers step, slide or climb upon is on a replaceable & easily removable vinyl cover. From climbing stairs, to entrance tunnel sleeves to sliding surfaces, Pango Inflatable only sells products that are designed for high-volume traffic.

Safety Door on Bouncers

Worried about children possibly falling out of a bouncer? Don't be. We got 3 points of reinforcement on the entrance of the bouncer which make the entrance very strong. Also we add the step outside the entrance following the AU and USA standards of jumping castle.

On-Staff Engineering and Designing

We do reinforce stitching at the fixion of D-ring. Four stitching line will share the tension of the bouncer. This made the D-ring last much longer and stronger. Other factory use other design of the fixion, but will not good for the tension sharing. Could find the differnce in the attached photos.

Cushion Designs

We do cushion between the wall and the base. When the kids bounce on the bouncer this parts bear most of the pressure, so this new design will make this parts much more strong and safety, while other factory only stitch to the base.
