This used to be the Jumeirah Hotel Frankfurt until this April. It was the first Jumeirah on the European continent. Obviously, not as successful as it needed to be.
In the back of this image the IG Farben Haus, the Deutsche Bundesbank and the Ginnheimer Spargel (TV tower) all line up in front of the slopes of the Taunus.

Taken March 2017. One of the many mosques in Dubai we had hoped to get on a tour of the mosque. But arrived too late. Our driver from the hotel asked if we could at least go inside, but we were refused. We had a stop over on our way back to Boston from Cape Town.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel, which opened in 1997, is operated by the Dubai-based hotelier Jumeirah. The hotel contains 598 rooms and suites, 19 beachfront villas, and 20 restaurants and bars. This wave-shaped hotel complements the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, which is adjacent to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Here is another view of Dubai's skyline, this time from a huge residential complex called Jumeirah Islands. It consists of 50 small islands, each comprising 16 villas. They all sit in a huge artificial lake.

I think to this shot for 4 years. At my last stay in Al Qasr, I could'nt access to this terrass. I 've finally been granted 4 years later ^^
Unfortunately weather was very hazy, as usual in summer and there are a lot of Cranes for the building of the new hotel
