(The Christmas Town) - an annual Christmas market event in the town of Egersund, with lots of nice, nostalgic and cosy sales stalls and streets, and good food and entertainment. This is just a little part of it.
We've had some beatuiful days with beautiful snow now - but since I don't get to be outside with my camera before the sun goes down, I shot this one on my way home from work yesterday. The Christmas Town has a break for some days now - if not you wouldn't see anything but people in the photo😉
Last night we also went out by boat in the dark to photograph Eigerøy lighthouse in the snow under the stars. Like magic!

There's a big difference between walking through Julebyen (the Christmas town) before and after the opening hours ツ
Today we had the winter's first beautiful snow as well- just like here one year ago.
It was a perfect timing, since I was going to visit this large and beautiful Christmas market after work today, together with my aunt who came by train from southern Norway for the first time.
Even though it was really cold, it was really nice with the snow, lots of people, and lots of good treats to buy ツ

This year I've decorated extra early, and I also finally have a Christmas tree for the first time in my own home. (As you can see - I think more is more when it comes to Christmas trees) ツ
Since all the Christmas concerts I use to attend are cancelled this year, and since I don't attend anything anyway at the moment due to my health - I needed some extra Christmas mood at home instead.
Today I also made a Christmas dinner for my parents who visited us, since I won't see them this Christmas. I can never have too many Christmas dinners ツ

On Christmas Eve, I finally had the time to try my new Sony A7III camera and 85mm f/1.8 lens. The first step of the long process, replacing all my Nikon gear with Sony.
It was fun that my adorable three years old niece had been in charge of the decorating of the Christmas tree. The clusters of baubles made good photosッ

Just came home from a Christmas concert with two really talented twins that I've always loved listening to, called Garness. It's a tradition for me to go on their concerts before Christmas, and their CD are often on repeat during Christmas. So now the Christmas Spirit really is here.

I'm neither a typical collector of stamps, nor a stamp dealer. I'm only a stamp photograph. I'm fascinated of the fine close-up structures which are hidden in this small stamp-pictures. Please don't ask of the worth of these stamps - the most ones have a worth of a few cents or still less.
By the way, I wanna say thank you to all flickr users who have sent me stamps! Great! Thank you! Someone sent me 3 or 5 stamps, another one sent me more than 20 stamps in a letter. It's everytime a great surprise for me and I'm everytime happy to get letters with stamps inside from you!

Det lille juletreet på Raet er pyntet til jul/The little Christmas tree at Raet National park is now decorated for the season.

I am on my way to the first of the five Christmas concerts I'm attendig this year now.
I will mostly listen to the first concerts with my choir, since I have trouble standing over time for the moment, but I have to be there for my solo. It is nice to receive some times as well

A self portrait from the town where I live, from a year we had a nicer start of December weatherwise.
After two quiet days, filled with rehearsals and my choir's two Christmas concerts last night, the wind and rain is really raging outside today.
But it's suitable for my post-concert shape, to sit inside with my coffee, watching Netflix and rehearse for the next concert.
It was really fun last night and I feel really ready for Christmas now, but it's a bit heavy for my body at the time, and it got really late since I have to travel for our concerts. Tired but happy ツ
