Seattle Asian Art Museum

Seattle, WA

This is a piece from the Seattle Asian Art Museum. They just recently reopened after being closed for a few years for extensive renovations. This is one of three jukeboxes that is playing religious chants from different religions. Colorful and modern it contrasts with the ancient music. This is from a Korean artist.

A couple more from my blog about using expired Kodak Pro 400MC

I have been posting photos recently of a classic car collection in southeast Michigan that belongs to Spike. Spike and his wife Susie also have some fine antiques in their home. I don't know anything about this old jukebox, but it is quite handsome.

The owner of this establishment was nice enough to stay after closing time and let me take some pictures of his jukebox collection. He has many more that is not pictured in this photograph. He even played an Elvis song from one of his machines. If you do not have the “Fonzie” touch you better bring along some coins.

The Seeburg HF 100 Jukebox is one of the most sought-after of all the 50's jukeboxes.

Hub City Vinyl, formerly a Ford dealership reborn as Hub City Vinyl, a record store in Hagerstown, Maryland.in the old & restored Massey auto building at 28 E. Baltimore St. As beutiful as the place is, I'm guessing the main buisiness is online, not just for Records, 78, 45, & 33 CD, Tape, but al sorts of very cool retro stuff. facebook.com/hubcityvinyl

It only plays one tune … and that's rather raucous these days :(

Amazingly few discotheques provide jukeboxes.
