JDMADS is a Traditional Martial Arts School and Dance Studio. Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu Karate and Joshin Ryu Kobudo are practiced in our wooden floor training hall, while Kodokan/Kosen Judo and Kansen Ryu Jujitsu are practiced on another hall conditioned with high quality mats necessary to these arts training.
The dance programs under renown dancer Johana "Ankita" are among the most suitable for small girls, teenagers and adult women with "fitness" in mind. A Zumba class will also be included next May, 2014. Our trainee's safety is always the main concern.
Professional instructors, a peaceful and clean ambiance and a dedicated Staff is what makes Jyoshinkan Dojo a Family place of choice.

Yvan Delourme a commencé la pratique des arts martiaux à l'age de 8 ans.
Tout d'abord, c'est la karaté qui l'a passionné durant toute son enfance, ceinture noire très jeune et compétiteur national, à 16 ans il découvre le Kick Boxing et abandonne la pratique du Karaté.
A 18 ans il rentre dans la police nationale pour se lancer dans une carrière de formateur en CRS, il étudie le Ju-jitsu, la self défense et le méthodes d'interventions professionnelles. Mais les débuts de l'UFC, avec des combattants tels que Royce Gracie, Don frye, Ken Schamrock vont le faire changer de direction. Il démissionne à 21 de la police pour ouvrir à 21 ans son premier club de Mixed Martial Art en Bretagne. Précurseur dans ce domaine, il créé un centre de formation spécialisé dans la préparation des portiers de discothèques et casinos, pas loin de 500 portiers seront diplômés pas Yovan.
En parallèle , il sera gérant d'une société de sécurité, ce qui lui permettra de rester en contact avec le terrain de la sécurité. Sa voie est toute tracée, il deviendra un jour, coach de reférance dans un des plus beau camp MMA de France. Sa soif de connaissance l'oblige à toujours apprendre, à rencontrer, à écouter, afin de perfectionner toutes ses techniques et pouvoir les enseigner à ses élèves.
A 37 ans, avec de multiples diplômes à son actif, presque 18 ans de coaching et plus de 1000 élèves qui ont suivit son enseignement, il décide de passer à la vitesse supérieur et d'ouvrir en collaboration avec sa femme, le premier camp de Mixed Martial Arts à l’américaine en France.

Scenes from the self-defense workshop held at UN Women’s Headquarters in New York, taught by Michelle Gay, founder of the self-defense workshop Safe and Sound Seminar, and Gene Dunn of Brooklyn Brazilian Jujitsu.
UN Women in partnership with Sayfty and the United Nations Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development’s Working Group on Youth and Gender Equality and other key partnering organizations will organize 16 self-defense workshops in 16 countries for young women (aged 16-30) to empower them with basic self-defense skills to keep them safer from gender based violence. The event will also present an opportunity to evaluate the lack of safe solutions to address the problem of violence against girls and young women.
The workshops will be a combination of stretching and conditioning exercises and various forms of martial arts. Girls and young women will be given demonstrations of basic maneuvers by trained instructors and taught tips and tricks that could be used in everyday situations such as public harassment, chain snatching, groping in public places etc. followed by a practice session for general safety and to build confidence so they can avoid getting into any unsafe situations.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign spanning from 25 November through 10 December, is taking place this year against the backdrop of an unprecedented global outcry. Millions have rallied behind the hashtag #MeToo and other campaigns, exposing the sheer magnitude of sexual harassment and other forms of violence that women everywhere suffer, every day. Breaking the silence is the first step to transforming the culture of gender-based violence.
At the heart of this year’s theme, “Leave No One Behind – End Violence against Women”, for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November) and UNiTE Campaign’s observance of the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence against Women (25 November – 10 December), is the imperative to support those who are particularly vulnerable. The UNiTE Campaign is calling on everyone to join the movement to end violence against women, using the colour orange to make your action visible.
