Journal 2007

This is the left side page of all 20 meditations for writing your own thoughts or pasting what you would like.

A small selection of journals past...

♥ [94/365] my evernote journal. i like this shot.

I've been keeping a daily journal for about three or four years now. About 20 of them are in storage back in Texas. When we moved to England in February 2007 for a three year stint, I started numbering my books, beginning with UK #1, of course.

I finished UK #11 today. It's always bittersweet to finish a book. The old one is a dear friend, after all. The new one? Well, there's the fear of the ultimate blank page. But I find that as soon as I make my first mark, ahhh. That's better.

Latest Pp. in the Time Capsule journal, to be opened

in 2072!

Well partner, this is what I ended up doing with those hexies. I hope you like it! The book is graph paper, perfect for quilt designing!

I used the Stitched in Color tutorial for this: www.stitchedincolor.com/2012/08/tutorial-journal-covers.html

Cover of a small, personal journal. This image was made in response to Flickr Friday's April 16 "Texture" theme. New (to me), very sharp Sigma 70mm macro, an Art series lens.

My visual journal from earlier in the week...

Made this in response to Kira's journal challenge. My journal book is kind of small, so I spread it over 2 pages. Also, I don't have a scanner, so I had to snap a picture......(I am a semi-newbie to art journals.....and as the journaling suggests---I need to fdevelop & find my style, and become more confident and believe in myself...need to learn more...and to learn to confidently let it flow....have fun...) Go easy on me....

Art journal I made at Artfest 2007, a class I took with Traci Bautista

you know times are getting better when you can take pictures at sundown again .. how I missed that.

and I couldn't decide which picture I like better because this is such an accurate portrait of me but the other one is inspired by chopin and they are so similar but they give me "this feeling" ... decision are such a tough thing to make.

Journal entry blog that I've design for another site.

LOOKING BACK

Its been a hell of a year as far as design is concern. This year was the first time I’ve ever posted my work on the web. With the combined exposure I've received from Bittbox and deviantART, I've gained many friends from all points of the globe. Design is truly an international affair with unlimited boundaries.

LOOKING AHEAD

The future can be as scary as a troubled past or as bright as a new beginning. Either way there is always something there waiting for you. It’s up to you to find out what it truly is. Setting goals and exercising ambition are one of the main ingredients in realizing what this gift MIGHT be . . . however you’ll probably never really know for sure. I myself have absolutely no clue. What I do know is that I want to leave a legacy. I want my work to speak louder than I ever could. And in doing so, inspire nations to express themselves to their full capacity and bring as many people with me as I can.

Care to join me? When armed with creativity, we can do anything.

2023 Weekly Challenge 36/52 ~ Journal

Flickr Lounge ~ Made of Paper

I kept a journal whilst my mother was ill and for the following year. Then along came Covid and it seemed important to chronicle what was happening in mine and the wider world. I have continued to keep a daily journal ever since.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated

O-wire bound from day 1 to 26. Such a lovely and long journey filled with thousand pieces of old Christmas memories.

It's been a while but here are the new designs for this winter season.
