From what I can tell after researching for an hour online, these are three vintage tractors. The first two are made by International Harvester. I would guess the red one was produced in the 1960’s. The yellow one seems to be similar to those produced in the 1970’s. The wonderful old John Deere I think is a 1950’s version. There is also an old rotary mower chained to the John Deere. I guess they don’t want anyone to steal the tractor :-)
I took this picture in August and I never posted it. Now that I am over my cold, I am ready to go out and take some photographs, but it is supposed to rain all week. Anyway, is nice to see the green summer grass and trees.

JD 1570 CWS von 2009-2012 produziert. 6 Schüttler mit 260PS und 1,56m dreschtrommelbreite die 61cm im Durchmesser ist, der Korntank ist 6800l groß.
Wohl wegen das relativ kleinen Korntankes ist wohl auch das Schneidwerk kleiner genommen worden.

Im Herbst war es noch sehr trocken, einige wenige sagten sich, lieber jetzt denn wer weiß wie nass es im nächsten Frühjahr sein wird.
I spotted this old John Deere tractor sitting in a snow covered field last week. I have no idea why it was there but I noticed the engine cover has been removed. Perhaps it was actually being used, there was a problem, the farmer tried to make a repair, and decided to wait until spring. But of course, I'm probably all wrong.

Oxford (North American): A snowplow.
A contractor for the city plows our street tonight while I was clearing snow from our driveway and sidewalks.
Fun fact: With the exception of February 2nd, it has snowed on every Thursday in 2023. Long range forecasts are calling for snow again next Thursday.

Looking more like it belongs in a Star Wars movie than a rural meadow, this machine is designed to harvest corn from the stalks.
While shooting the abandoned house a couple of photos back, I noticed this odd contraption across the road. I was approached by the owner and advised that this machinery was for sale. I'd actually love to have it to display in my front yard! Perhaps plant a few corn plants around it, and some wildflowers? ;)
I dread to think how much a new one would cost! And when you think about it, these are sat in a barn unused for circa 11 months in the year, then work like heck around the clock on contract I expect come Autumn!! There were TWO working on this field along with a couple of huge tractors which are not cheap either.
