Doctor Fate, Enchantress, Trigon, Sargon The Sorcerer, Blue Devil, Zatanna, John Constantine and Deadman
I have "Vienna Rose" down as Poison Ivy and Sean W. as John Constantine. Unfortunately, I can't find a match for either in Facebook. If this is you, ping me, eh?
Wade plays John Constantine from the comic Hellblazer during Comic Con 2018 in San Diego.
The name's Constantine, but the comic's called Hellblazer. Created by Alan Moore as a supporting character during his run on Swamp Thing, the intent was to create a blue-collar warlock. If Doctor Strange grew up in Toxteth – that's John Constantine, and his attitude's every bit as acerbic as you might expect. A complex character, Constantine is a loner who somehow accrues a large network of friends and loved ones, most of whom end up dead. He's a good man at heart, but prone to the easy, lazy decision that ensures that good may not always prosper. And he's the kind of guy who will not just look Death in the face and laugh, but tell him to shove it up his arse too. Curiously, though Moore imbued Constantine with many of his defining characteristics, he rocketed to prominence under the care of writers like Jamie Delano and Garth Ennis, whose Deadly Habits arc, where Constantine contracts terminal lung cancer, is rightly one of the most celebrated in comic book history.
Trademarks: Blond hair, trenchcoat, snarky attitude, ever-present cigarette dangling from his lip, Liverpudlian accent, damned soul and magical proficiency. *

John Constantine, the Hellblazer. Kinda/sorta/maybe on the side of the angels but a totally manipulative wanker regarding using people to meet his goals.
I did a lot of post-production on this one:
greatly darkened the overall image;
added some grittiness/grunge (Topaz Adjust);
partially masked out the cosplayer to give him some grit and grime but not overly-so;
added in cigarette smoke for both Constantine and the skull (he had props that made it look like he had lit cigarettes) to lend some realism;
warped, partially erased, added in layer effects (outer & inner glows, gradient fill, inner shadow) to make the smoke look real but not obscure the skull or his face.
Comments?
Cassidy and Constantine. I was going to have Wade Barrett and possibly Jenny Sparx involved, but it didn't seem the right time yet.
So...No transition.

You can follow my work on fb: Monsters Inside
Constantine's accessories are remarkable. All the ones that look metal are. There are 10 of those bullets, which fit nicely into the chambers of his gun. Three loose cigarettes fit into the cigarette pack. Two tiny scarabs can be found inside the working matchbox. The metal lighter can open and close, and the ignition wheel actually spins. The pages inside the bible are all printed. The detailing on it all is exquisite.
terrible pictures I took of my other John (Constantine) while playing with his set of Ringdoll Gesture hands. I Thought he needed them for magics. Hence the crappy PS job.
Assuming Time and Weather aline sometime in the future I will be wiping him so I can redo his faceup more to my liking, and his hair. He was the first to get glued-on hair in my group (not counting actual John, whose style is totally different) and I can do better now. Plus I want to go the more natural blonde route with him now.

A portrait of author Ian Rankin at a book singing for his first graphic novel (or comic book as those of us of a certain vintage still instictively think of them) in Edinburgh's Forbidden Planet earlier this evening. It features John Constantine from the Hellblazer series...who was created during Alan Moore's run on "Swamp Thing".
Ah...book signings...I'm sure DI John Rebus would have a pithy word or two about them. ;-)
My thanks are due to Joe Gordon and all the staff at Forbidden Planet...and of course, to Ian Rankin for his patience and endurance in the face of being photographed for the umpteenth time (and that's just today).
P.S. My title isn't a typo...check out the name of the artist on the cover of the book. :-)

Dragon Con 2017 has dawned, cool and rainy. And who should I find out having a smoke in this very English weather?
John Constantine (Wes Whitlock), of course.

I refused to get the Mattel DCUC version because it looked like he was wearing bluejeans. I cannot tell for certain, but I'm certain these pants he is wearing are not denim. Yes, I did use "certain" twice in the same sentence.
Here they are. All the comic-themed dolls!
The Tiny Justice League are mostly owned by NannaElle - I only own Batman, Catwoman and Joker. All the big ones are mine.
