Both of these pictures were taken last year from the top of City Tower on the north western corner gantry using a Benbo trekker tripod and the trusty D80. This one is crap 'cos it isn't as sharp as I'd like as again it was taken in a howling wind. Buckles, (you know who you are!) wouldn't come on to the gantry to help hold down the tripod, as he's scared of heights. I'm scared of grounds. They may look slightly different as they've had different PP but they're taken from the same place.

Happy Halloween, everyone!
I don't like Halloween, by the way. Not only I'm having freaky nightmares, but I'm in pretty bad mood, too. Angry (because Kotsuli is turning into a little evil bastard and attacks me in a serious way these days), sad and disappointed (because my plans to go home have been cancelled), annoyed (because it's still raining and it will stay like that till next summer), frustrated (with the whole jobsearch thing) and altogether feeling like I've been burried alive!
I just want to scream, really...

Footwear for the casual office or dress down Fridays!
Casual dress in the workplace has become increasingly popular in recent years; many businesses have opted for a more relaxed approach towards their dress code. Offices that continue to operate in a sophisticated smart dress policy often have a casual day at the end of a hard-working week, known as ‘dress down Fridays’.

This editorial cartoon by Bearman appeared at beartoons.com on August 3, 2009. It was inspired by the lawsuit brought by Trina Thompson against Monroe College for not doing enough to find her a job and looking to get a refund of her tuition. This toon is not about Ms Thompson but rather the fate of Universities if she should win her lawsuit.
