Students get a chance to meet local employers and learn about what they are looking for in employees.
CAMP HUMPHREYS – The Army Community Service Employment Readiness Program, here, hosted a Community Job Fair, Sept. 30, in the Super Gym.
Spouses, Family members and just about anyone looking for employment, were invited to participate.
Prior to the job fair, attendees were encouraged to contact Philip Chang, the Employment Readiness Program manager, for assistance in completing their resume.
The Employment Readiness Program offers job search assistance, individual counseling to explore a career path (on an appointment basis), and monthly classes on topics such as job search strategies, professional resume preparation, enhancing your interview skills, and Federal Resume preparation. In addition, the Employment Readiness Program has resource facilities to support your job search activities such as Internet accessible computer work stations, personal development books and videos for check out, and a copier/scanner/fax. The Employment Readiness Program is not a job placement service, but provides resources and tools to enhance job search activities.

More than 70 employers, service organizations, colleges and universities recruited during a free job fair Sept. 28. The annual event was organized by Marietta Ward 5 City Councilman Anthony Coleman, the city of Marietta, Cobb/Cherokee Career Center, Cobb County Government, CobbWorks, Inc. and Georgia Department of Labor.

Lewis and Clark Community College held its annual job fair April 4 in River Bend Arena. More than 100 employers were on hand looking for qualified applicants.
Capt. Kathleen Urtz and Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Duris, Command Post Western New York command team, presents awards of recognition to Sgt. Jordan Popp, Sgt. Sean Flynn, Sgt. Stacey Hart, and Staff Sgt. The job fair aims to assist service members obtain civilian jobs once the Covid-19 relief mission ends.
