Islamists in Syria. The stories we hear about them mainly show ruthless extremists and salafists on the path of dangerous “Jihad”.
What do we remember about them most? What is most often referred to? That one commander devoured on piece of a killed Syrian Army soldier? Or the news from the powerful Vatican press agency, that “Islamists” beheaded a Christian cleric?
This news (2nd July 2013) broke out a day after a big financial scandal in the church was made known to public (1st July 2013), and the Church confirmed that at that point they already, for a week, had information on the beheading of priest.
Why didn’t they release it earlier? Why did they release it once the financial scandal was made known? I won’t speculate.
There is one more thing however, much important. See, for example, The Telegraph piece on the issue (www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/10153...):
“Father Pizzaballa, a colleague in the Franciscan Friars of the Custody of the Holy Land, to which Father Francois belonged, told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that none of their priests were the victims in the video.
"None of our priests have died in this manner. All our priests are alive. Reading the reports circulating in the media I conclude that they have mixed up events," he said.
Peter Bouckaert, Emergencies Director for Human Rights Watch said: "Confusion may have arisen because of the appearance of this video around the same time that the news came out that Father Francois had been killed”.
Father Francois Mourad, a Syrian originally named as victim of a merciless mob, was instead shot eight times on June 23 when a group of rebels stormed his monastery, said Friar Pierbattista Pizzaballa, head of the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land. He was buried that same day.
Mourad's attackers were said to have killed him for collaborating with President Bashar Assar's regime.
The death is death, but the “beheading” of priest in Syria was the issue of today, this is, what you might also remember. The whole world talked about it.
Did Vatican correct its mistake? In a way. Later they said that “the events leading to death of the priest are not fully understood”.
Going back to the “Islamists”. The most violent of known extremist groups operating in Syria is ISIS – Islamic State of Iraq and Sham. This organization, recently on main pages of many media outlets, is however small and unpopular – not only amongst people, but brigades fighting Bashar al Assad, along which there are the two biggest Sunni Islamic movements in Syria.
Jabhat al Nusra (Al-Nusra front, said to have 7,000 to 15,000 fighters) rejected merger with ISIS. Ahrar ash-Sham, probably the largest “Islamic” group (said to have 10,000 to 20,000 soldiers) is likely in an open conflict with Islamic State of Iraq and Sham. A month ago, in September 2013, ISIS killed the Ahrar ash-Sham commander Abu Obeida Al-Binnishi. Ahrar al-Sham fighters were trying to rescue members of an Islamic charity from Malaysia who had been kidnapped by ISIS.
It is true that Ahrar al-Sham stated its goal was to replace the Assad government with an Islamic state. It also acknowledged the need to take into account the population’s current state of mind.
Islamists in Syria whom we met and interviewed have clearly said they would like to see an Islamic state.., but only should the popular vote decide on it. Ahrar ash-Sham emphasizes that its campaign is for Syria, not for a global jihad.
Don’t forget that majority of Islamic fighters are Syrians, and you will find perhaps a few that would like to impose Sharia by force.
Syrians who joined Islamic brigades did that mainly to continue fighting with Bashar, not primarily to become “Islamic fighters”. The war in Syria is rooted in revolution.
It's a sin to lie in such matters, and over years it can damage the world's peace.
On Dr. Martin Luther King memorial day, it is worth noting that Lord Buddha advocated human equality more than 2500 years ago, dismissing and refusing to recognize social structures which hold individuals down. He accepted all students regardless of caste or gender or other differences.
Buddha is quoted as saying "Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule."
As human beings It must be difficult to change.
500 years later Lord Jesus Christ put it this way "As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
By being simply honest with ourselves, open hearted, and willing to change as individuals we can look at our own prejudice and remove what ever they are, simply by watching our own minds. Setting ourselves on dismissing those thoughts and deeds as incorrect that do not align with the advice great beings who have come before us have given, going back in history beyond human memory.
There must be something even more to loving each other that we can not even yet imagine. Otherwise how could love and compassion be such a radical idea thousands of years after these great ideas have been recommended and even insisted upon by the foremost to ever live?

Sara grabs Laurels baton and starts beating on Red Slasher.
WC: "Cale, you were a freaking security guard for the White House. What the hell happened?"

Sara stays quiet for a moment.

As soon as he says that Shiva jumps in with Sara's bo-staff. She holds a knife to her throat.
LS: "If you won't join us, we'll have to force you to join Ra's his Ressurection army!"
WC: "What the hell are you planning Shiva?!"
LS: "Find out voluntarely or join it."
Shiva puts the knife closer to Sara's throat. Before Sara can answer Shiva gets blown away by Dinah's Canary Cry. Sara throws a throwing star at Slasher's shoulder and he falls over. Shiva tries to get up, but gets punched in the face by Dinah, who in return falls to the ground to blood loss.
WC: "Dinah!"
Shiva looks at Slasher and she tells him it's time to leave.
LS: "Perhaps it's time to leave."
Shiva then looks at Sara.
LS: "Don't worry Sara, we will do this on our own, and you will suffer the most, when we've taken everything!"
Slasher throws a smoke grenade, and he and Shiva are both gone.
Sara takes a communicater out of her pocket.
WC: "Oliver, do you copy? Dinah is badly wounded, and we need medical assistance!"
GA: "I'm on my way. I'll contact Dr Mi-Nite, and tell him to prepare for surgery."
WC: "Thanks Ollie!"
Sara then looks at Dinah.
WC: "C'mon sis, you'll be okay, no worries."
BC: *Cough* "What were they talking about? Ressurection army?"
WC: "I'm not sure either, but we'll find out. Just keep holding on. Oliver and Doctor Mid-Nite are on their way."

On March 17 1992, there was a suicide bombing on the Israeli Embassy (Buenos Aires, Argentina). 29 dead, 242 injured.
Imad Mughniyeh, later head of Lebanese Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad, was indicted for this attack, and later included by Mr. Nisman in the AMIA case.
Mughniyeh was killed on Feb. 12 1982, in Syria. He was also an associate of Yasser Arafat.
Juan Peron, president Argentina 1946-1955, 1973-1974. He created SIDE and designated Rodolfo Freude as its first director.
Peronism: Political party, formed by Juan Peron.
AMIA: Argentine Israelite Mutual Association
SIDE - SI (Intelligence Service of Argentina), back in the 40's, headed by Rodolfo Freude, helped the Vatican move the whole of the Nazi bosses to Argentina, including Hitler, to a nearby farm in Bariloche (Residencia Inalco).
Alberto Nisman, Argentine District Attorney, in charge of the AMIA case, designated by president Nestor Kichner.
Jaime Stiuso -AKA Stiuso-, former director of SIDE, retired on Dec. 2014
Nestor Kichner, president Argentina, on Sept. 2004, designated Stiuso to work with Nisman in the AMIA case.
Diego Angel Lagomarsino, Programmer, worked for Nisman about 7 years.
On May 2008, Mr. Nisman filed a petition for Obstruction of Justice against former president Menem and other individuals, for covering the investigation of the bombing of AMIA.
On Dec. 23 2014, Argentine District Attorney, Alberto Nisman, requested that a trial be advanced, to the first semester of 2015, where there had been obstruction of justice, in the case of July 18 1994.
The accused are former president Menem (son of Syrian immigrants), his brother Munir Menem, SIDE's chief Hugo Anzorreguy, his second in SIDE Carlos Anchezar, former police commissar Jorge Palacios, former Federal Judge Juan Jose Galeano, former government attorneys Eamon Mullen and José Barbaccia, Ruben Baraja DAIA.
There is also an investigation of businessman Alberto Kanoore Edul, as a participant in the bombing conspiracy of AMIA.
The Edul and Menen families, come from the same town in Syria, Yabrud.
Alberto Kanoore Edul, died in 2010.
Alberto Jacinto Edul, son of Alberto Kanoore Edudl, had been investigated for participating in the AMIA attack.
Mr. Nisman, had been investigating a 1994 terrorist attack against AMIA (85 dead), since 1997.
Wikileaks: "he (Nisman) was an assistant prosecutor during the early stages of the investigation and intimately involved with the former prosecutors who also face charges of malfeasance."
One day before he was going before a Commission from Congress, to make an official denouncement against president Cristina K. he appeared dead.
President Cristina K, published a first letter, where twice she mentions that Mr. Nisman had committed suicide.
She wrote on Jan. 19 2015 : "¿Qué fue lo que llevo a una persona a tomar la terrible decisiónde quitarse la vida?."
What made a person to take a terrible decision to take his life?.
Basically, before any investigation, she "suicided" Nisman.
Argentine Security Secretary, Sergio Berni, went to Nisman's apartment, and claimed that it was locked from the inside, that they had to call a locksmith to enter.
Now, the locksmith, Walter, says the service door, was open.
There were no traces of gunpowder in Mr. Nisman's hands.
They did not take DNA samples from the trigger of the gun.
Om Jan 22 2015, president Cristina K, publishes the "Por qué se iba a suicidar…?" "Why was he going to commit suicide…?" letter.
There are five "Por qué se iba a suicidar…" mentions, now she says Nisman did not commit suicide, as she had affirmed twice in a prior letter.
Back in 2007, SIDE (Intelligence Secretary of Argentina, under the control of a former driver of Nestor Kirchner, Paco Larcher), had a DVCRAU (Data Voice Call Recording and Acquisition Unit); recording thousands of phones of the political opposition and press. Not only recording the phone calls, as much as turning the phones into wireless mikes.
SIDE has also hacked email accounts of thousands.
Paco Larcher made 5 million pesos from 2003 to 2009.
Larcher left SIDE on 12/16/2014
And working for SIDE, has become a nefarious job, such as the case of former SIDE Agent, Pedro Viale, killed on 7/9/2013
President Cristina K, went from 56 million pesos in 2009, to 80 million pesos in 2010
Antonio Horacio Stiles (Jaime Stiuso), former director of SIDE, called Mr. Nisman, the day before his death, and told him not to trust his bodyguards (eight); according to Diego Lagomarsino.
Mr. Lagomarsino gave Mr. Nisman, his gun, at the request of Mr. Nisman.
Oscar Parrilli, nominated as new boss at SIDE on Dec. 16 2014.
His first order was to remove Stiuso and 15 others under his command on Dec. 16 2014.
Nisman returned to Argentina on Jan 12 2015.
There is a previous relationship of many years, between Stiuso SIDE-Nisman-Sandra Arroyo Salgado (Nisman's former wife).
Mr. Nisman's denouncement came a few days after Stiuso was forced out of SIDE, and now SIDE has been disbanded by president Cristina K.
SIDE is the government agency which has provided the data to help Mr. Nisman, bring about an indictment against president Cristina K.
Now, many of the SIDE agents have ben terminated and there is a Law, soon to be implemented in Congress, where there will be total control in benefit of President Cristina K.
Nestor and Cristina K. used SIDE, the same way it had been used by prior governments, to spy on the opposition and to enrich themselves.
According to Eduardo Arnold (former vice Governor of the State of Santa Cruz, where Nestor Kirchner was Governor), there are bank vaults constructed on private houses, belonging to Nestor and Cristina Kirchner and a close friend of them (Lázaro Báez), in their houses of the State of Santa Cruz (El Calafate); where about five thousand million dollars were hidden away, before sending them to bank accounts in Panama and other Fiscal Paradises (See the Leonardo Fariña affair).
Back in May 2010, Nisman wanted a federal judgeship (as shown on a WikiLeaks cable)
And there are others, that had a similar fate as Mr. Nisman:
Hector Osvaldo Gonçalves Pereyra, former police sergeant,
Alejandra Medrano, killed Oct. 27 2019, killed (suicide), after denouncing Sergio Tomas Massa of Drug Trafficking.
Vittorio Gotti, killed in car accident on April 2004, businessman forced to sell his businesses to Lazaro Baez, associate of Cristina Kirchner.
Abel Beroiz, killed on 27 Nov. 2007. He was a Trucking Union Delegate, Treasurer.
Rodolfo Luis Moraña, killed (suicide), connected to the Trucking Union and to Hugo Moyano. Moraña worked for companies of Alfredo Yabran. Moyano had been involved in legal disputes with Cristina Kirchner.
Alfredo Yabran, On May 20 1998, killed (suicide) when implicated in the assassination of Journalist, José Luis Cabezas
Raul Espinosa, Fishing Businessman, killed on Jan 30, 2003. had information about drug trafficking in Santa Cruz of Cristina Kirchner and Nestor Kirchner. Espinosa met Elisa María Avelina "Lilita" Carrió, to tell her about this information.
Nisman also confided to Elisa Carrio, that he had legal information against Cristina Kirchner, prior to his "suicide"
Jazmin de Grazia, killed ( by suicide, asphyxiated by immersion in bathtub) on Feb. 5 2012. She had a public online disagreement with Anibal Fernandez. Fernandez is a close ally of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner. Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister.
Damian Ferron, killed on August 7, 2008. Ferron, Leopoldo Bina, Sebastian Forza; were pharmaceutical businessmen associated to the illegal traffic of Ephedrine.
Forza's widow denounced that his husband and associates paid $250.000 pesos to Anibal Fernandez (AKA La morsa)
Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister during governments of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner.

It was supposed to be a joke faction for Warzone, mostly because they made me a moderator and I thought a moderator ought to have at least something of a faction. Then Ryan got uppity about it and I decided to take it a little bit seriously. Doubt I'll have time for much robot space jihading, though. I've got DC5 to organize, projects to finish, and then field camp for 6 weeks, and I don't know how often I'll even have cell phone service out there.

SIDE - SI (Intelligence Service of Argentina), back in the 40's, headed by Rodolfo Freude, helped the Vatican move the whole of the Nazi bosses to Argentina, including Hitler, to a nearby farm in Bariloche (Residencia Inalco).

On May 2008, Mr. Nisman filed a petition for Obstruction of Justice against former president Menem and other individuals, for covering the investigation of the bombing of AMIA.
On Dec. 23 2014, Argentine District Attorney, Alberto Nisman, requested that a trial be advanced, to the first semester of 2015, where there had been obstruction of justice, in the case of July 18 1994.
The accused are former president Menem (son of Syrian immigrants), his brother Munir Menem, SIDE's chief Hugo Anzorreguy, his second in SIDE Carlos Anchezar, former police commissar Jorge Palacios, former Federal Judge Juan Jose Galeano, former government attorneys Eamon Mullen and José Barbaccia, Ruben Baraja DAIA.
There is also an investigation of businessman Alberto Kanoore Edul, as a participant in the bombing conspiracy of AMIA.
The Edul and Menen families, come from the same town in Syria, Yabrud.
Alberto Kanoore Edul, died in 2010.
Alberto Jacinto Edul, son of Alberto Kanoore Edudl, had been investigated for participating in the AMIA attack.
Mr. Nisman, had been investigating a 1994 terrorist attack against AMIA (85 dead), since 1997.
Wikileaks: "he (Nisman) was an assistant prosecutor during the early stages of the investigation and intimately involved with the former prosecutors who also face charges of malfeasance."
One day before he was going before a Commission from Congress, to make an official denouncement against president Cristina K. he appeared dead.
President Cristina K, published a first letter, where twice she mentions that Mr. Nisman had committed suicide.
She wrote on Jan. 19 2015 : "¿Qué fue lo que llevo a una persona a tomar la terrible decisiónde quitarse la vida?."
What made a person to take a terrible decision to take his life?.
Basically, before any investigation, she "suicided" Nisman.
Argentine Security Secretary, Sergio Berni, went to Nisman's apartment, and claimed that it was locked from the inside, that they had to call a locksmith to enter.
Now, the locksmith, Walter, says the service door, was open.
There were no traces of gunpowder in Mr. Nisman's hands.
They did not take DNA samples from the trigger of the gun.
Om Jan 22 2015, president Cristina K, publishes the "Por qué se iba a suicidar…?" "Why was he going to commit suicide…?" letter.
There are five "Por qué se iba a suicidar…" mentions, now she says Nisman did not commit suicide, as she had affirmed twice in a prior letter.
Back in 2007, SIDE (Intelligence Secretary of Argentina, under the control of a former driver of Nestor Kirchner, Paco Larcher), had a DVCRAU (Data Voice Call Recording and Acquisition Unit); recording thousands of phones of the political opposition and press. Not only recording the phone calls, as much as turning the phones into wireless mikes.
SIDE has also hacked email accounts of thousands.
Paco Larcher made 5 million pesos from 2003 to 2009.

And working for SIDE, has become a nefarious job, such as the case of former SIDE Agent, Pedro Viale, killed on 7/9/2013
President Cristina K, went from 56 million pesos in 2009, to 80 million pesos in 2010
Antonio Horacio Stiles (Jaime Stiuso), former director of SIDE, called Mr. Nisman, the day before his death, and told him not to trust his bodyguards (eight); according to Diego Lagomarsino.
Mr. Lagomarsino gave Mr. Nisman, his gun, at the request of Mr. Nisman.
Oscar Parrilli, nominated as new boss at SIDE on Dec. 16 2014.
His first order was to remove Stiuso and 15 others under his command on Dec. 16 2014.
Nisman returned to Argentina on Jan 12 2015.
There is a previous relationship of many years, between Stiuso SIDE-Nisman-Sandra Arroyo Salgado (Nisman's former wife).
Mr. Nisman's denouncement came a few days after Stiuso was forced out of SIDE, and now SIDE has been disbanded by president Cristina K.
SIDE is the government agency which has provided the data to help Mr. Nisman, bring about an indictment against president Cristina K.
Now, many of the SIDE agents have ben terminated and there is a Law, soon to be implemented in Congress, where there will be total control in benefit of President Cristina K.
Nestor and Cristina K. used SIDE, the same way it had been used by prior governments, to spy on the opposition and to enrich themselves.
According to Eduardo Arnold (former vice Governor of the State of Santa Cruz, where Nestor Kirchner was Governor), there are bank vaults constructed on private houses, belonging to Nestor and Cristina Kirchner and a close friend of them (Lázaro Báez), in their houses of the State of Santa Cruz (El Calafate); where about five thousand million dollars were hidden away, before sending them to bank accounts in Panama and other Fiscal Paradises (See the Leonardo Fariña affair).
Back in May 2010, Nisman wanted a federal judgeship (as shown on a WikiLeaks cable)

Hector Osvaldo Gonçalves Pereyra, former police sergeant,
Alejandra Medrano, killed Oct. 27 2019, killed (suicide), after denouncing Sergio Tomas Massa of Drug Trafficking.
Vittorio Gotti, killed in car accident on April 2004, businessman forced to sell his businesses to Lazaro Baez, associate of Cristina Kirchner.
Abel Beroiz, killed on 27 Nov. 2007. He was a Trucking Union Delegate, Treasurer.
Rodolfo Luis Moraña, killed (suicide), connected to the Trucking Union and to Hugo Moyano. Moraña worked for companies of Alfredo Yabran. Moyano had been involved in legal disputes with Cristina Kirchner.
Alfredo Yabran, On May 20 1998, killed (suicide) when implicated in the assassination of Journalist, José Luis Cabezas
Raul Espinosa, Fishing Businessman, killed on Jan 30, 2003. had information about drug trafficking in Santa Cruz of Cristina Kirchner and Nestor Kirchner. Espinosa met Elisa María Avelina "Lilita" Carrió, to tell her about this information.
Nisman also confided to Elisa Carrio, that he had legal information against Cristina Kirchner, prior to his "suicide"
Jazmin de Grazia, killed ( by suicide, asphyxiated by immersion in bathtub) on Feb. 5 2012. She had a public online disagreement with Anibal Fernandez. Fernandez is a close ally of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner. Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister.
Damian Ferron, killed on August 7, 2008. Ferron, Leopoldo Bina, Sebastian Forza; were pharmaceutical businessmen associated to the illegal traffic of Ephedrine.
Forza's widow denounced that his husband and associates paid $250.000 pesos to Anibal Fernandez (AKA La morsa)
Fernandez was also Interior Minister and Justice Minister during governments of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner.

Burdett scrambled for the door, trying to get out in the hallway, trying to stay alive.
