The clan jetties in Penang

The Clan Jetties of George Town only came about in the late 19th century, following the reclamation of the George Town waterfront that extended the shoreline outward.

One of the jetties which were historically used for exporting copper in Karavostasi, an area which since the Turkish invasion in 1974 has been fairly inaccessible to most Cypriots.

The jetty at Beachport taken in late morning during our road trip to Robe, South Australia.

Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated.

Its taken by canon 8-15mm fisheyes. I got this lens around 2 years ago. If you ask me, would I recommend this lens? My answer is NO! as least not for me, I barely use this one. I mean, it do provide an unique view, but just not the lens you wanna take it every time when you go out.

Anyways, forget about this dramatic editing, I LOVE how it composed the view in this photo! Essentially, picking the fisheyes is to extend the jetty a little bit, but I also have to deal with the long exposure by fisheyes. As we known, it's not a good choice to take long exposure photo without ND, GND, RGND those kind of filters. So I took 2 shots there, one is for the right exposure of the water, another is for the sky. All it sounds this photo should be great, but I accidentally deleted the shot for the sky!!! So this dramatic editing is to cover the missing details of the sky. What a shame!

Again, thanks all for your browsing and comments
