Escher in Het Paleis (Escher in The Palace) is a museum in The Hague, Netherlands, featuring the works of the Dutch graphical artist M. C. Escher. It is housed in the Lange Voorhout Palace since November 2002.
In 2015 it was revealed that many of the prints on display at the museum were replicas, scanned from original prints and printed onto the same type of paper used by Escher, rather than original Escher prints as they had been labeled.
week 4 of 52 things i love...
i adore my car. its a VW jetta diesel engine... i have had this car for almost 7 years and its still going with some bumps and dings here and there:)
At the the time I noticed the lowering, but it wasn't until I checked DVLA that I found it was an import (first registered here only in April 2016) and now I see that it's LHD.
My boy's Jetta. Pretty nice whip.
It was hard getting this shot cus so many people drive down this block. Sheesh.
i haven't uploaded a photo in a long time, but that doesn't mean i haven't been shooting. i'm just not making my photos public anymore. but from time to time, i'll add something to let you know i'm still here.
here's one of my car from a while ago.
Great looking early 90's Jetta spotted in Hitchin, however at last MOT it had quite a few advisories!
a rig shot i tried, it was impossible to not over expose way too much while still getting a long enough shutter to get proper wheel spin, but this was the best i could do with just a cpl.
thanks to dave for letting me use his rig.
I've been finding plenty of these lately as usual, but most of my recent ones have been in poor condition...heavily curbed or with big chunks out of the edge. This one is very nice, so a welcome change.
The Yaris has 2 cracks, but it's complete and not hit. That's pretty good for one of these since they're so brittle, so I took it. The Jetta had a huge chunk. I took it for the badge, then ruined the badge trying to get it out. Can't win 'em all.
Two Jetta VI caps together here. One is cracked and chipped, but the other is nice. I also found two Toyotas in this area. There must have been a pothole that was filled...I didn't see what took them off.
