Tom Tom Falls is a nice 25 foot waterfall just a bit upstream from Little Mashel Falls in Eatonville, Washington. I have been here several times, though now it is virtually closed to the public, and on all my visits it was always a bit tricky to give this one that special something. On this visit last August I finally took some time to really observe the surroundings and found the shade provided by these two trees and knew I had a winner comp. Japanese Gardens are amazing and I was happy to find one fairly close to my house in nearby Tacoma, Washington. Right outside of the Pt. Defiance Zoo is Pt. Defiance Park and I truly had no clue before this day that the park had a Japanese Garden. The Botanical Garden in Bellevue, Washington is obviously much more impressive but this is a nice alternate location. This is exactly how I would love my future backyard to look, maybe with a mini bocce ball court or disc golf hole right in the middle of this. Thanks for checking this out. Enjoy!
I never liked Jessica Simpson all that much, but I really like this rendition of her.
I made my visit to Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas to start 2009. Having just come back from Hong Kong and its own Madame Tussaud's, as well as previous visits to locations at London, Amsterdam, and New York, I wanted to check off the one location among Madame Tussaud's original five that I had not visited. (Plus I had a new car and a new camera to test out.)
