Yuba is jealous of Norio because Norio gets medicine twice a day, which, to Yuba's way of thinking, means Naomi loves Norio more than Yuba. And that just won't do. So, Yuba tries to intimidate and bully Norio. He is doing so here subtly by getting close to him when he knows Norio doesn't like it.

Jealousy typically refers to the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that occur when a person believes a valued relationship is being threatened by a rival. This rival may have no knowledge that he or she is threatening the relationship.

I watched a movie at home during Typhoon # 9 on Saturday. The movie was called "The Illusionist" which I think was in the cinema about 2 years ago. I totally love it. Suffice to say I am a fan of magic tricks or illusions, I am a bigger fan of the time (turn-of-the-20th-century ) where the movie was set.
If I can go back in time, I would really like to go back to the Victorian age in London. Think about Sherlock Holmes, Jack the Ripper etc :-)

Four crows visit our garden on a regular basis (a couple, plus their recent hatchlings). I think this is the "mum & dad" so to speak, with mum on the left.
What a death stare she's giving him. I think it's clear she's saying: "Sure, you stuff your face and enjoy yourself, I'll do all the regurgitating as usual..."

Keukenhof ("Kitchen garden"), also known as the Garden of Europe, is situated near Lisse, Netherlands, and is the world's largest flower garden. According to the official info for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 000 000 flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares.
Keukenhof is located in West Holland in the small town of Lisse, south of Haarlem and southwest of Amsterdam.
Keukenhof is situated on a 15th century hunting area. It was also a source of herbs for Jacqueline, Countess of Hainaut's castle, which is the source of the name Keukenhof.
The garden was established in 1949 by the then-mayor of Lisse. The idea was to present a flower exhibit where growers from all over the Netherlands and Europe could show off their hybrids.

In the course of learning Composition and Design abstract is probably the most difficult lesson for me. To start with, I need to contemplate the difference between "abstract" and "abstracted" before I can move on. Then I need to focus on the "formal" elements to create one non-representational image. Of course, the most time-consuming part is to come out an idea to express the desired emotion in such an abstract image. The final step is to find appropriate props which can make the image work accordingly!
Jealousy is a negative feeling everyone experiences at different stage of life. It's a mixed feeling of anger, sadness, insecurity, fear, and anxiety if not more. The image I came out with may not be a success in conveying such a complex emotion, but the process really makes me think hard how to compose and design an image I sketched in mind. I'm sure all the effort is worth!
