CHAPITRE VI
Ah! petit prince, j'ai compris, peu à peu, ainsi, ta petite vie mélancolique. Tu n'avais eu longtemps pour distraction que la douceur des couchers de soleil. J'ai appris ce détail nouveau, le quatrième jour au matin, quand tu m'as dit:
- J'aime bien les couchers de soleil. Allons voir un coucher de soleil...
- Mais il faut attendre...
- Attendre quoi ?
- Attendre que le soleil se couche.
Tu as eu l'air très surpris d'abord, et puis tu as ri de toi-même. Et tu m'as dit:
- Je me crois toujours chez moi !
En effet. Quand il est midi aux États-Unis, le soleil, tout le monde le sait, se couche sur la France. Il suffirait de pouvoir aller en France en une minute pour assister au coucher de soleil. Malheureusement la France est bien trop éloignée. Mais, sur ta si petite planète, il te suffisait de tirer ta chaise de quelques pas. Et tu regardais le crépuscule chaque fois que tu le désirais...
- Un jour, j'ai vu le soleil se coucher quarante-trois fois !
Et un peu plus tard tu ajoutais:
- Tu sais... quand on est tellement triste on aime les couchers de soleil...
- Le jour des quarante-trois fois tu étais donc tellement triste ? Mais le petit prince ne répondit pas.
The attacks on the lives of innocent young people in Paris is disgusting, a complete abomination of all things human. Personally, I wish to offer my sincerest condolences to the victims of this massacre and their families. Extremism of any kind is not welcome anywhere on this planet for any reason.
The Plague of years ago affected bodies, but it seems there is a modern plague amongst us which infects hearts and minds.
This shot was taken at Eyam Museum. It tells the remarkable story of the people of Eyam, Derbyshire, in the 17th Century. They isolated themselves after being infected in order to save the wider community.
Eyam today is a thriving and beautiful community.
In memory of all victims of daesh, not only in Paris, but also in Ankara, the Sinaï, Beirut and all other places!
But, anyhow, I'm not afraid and I'm determent to live my life as I want to!

Ma Dame,
Ce 13 novembre 2015, tu as été blessée par des actes inqualifiables. Parée de nos couleurs, tu vacilles mais tu ne tomberas pas. Parce que je serais là, nous serons tous là pour te soutenir !
Mon Paris,
Je veux vivre, mais pas dans la peur. Je veux me balader dans tes rues, appareil photo en main. Je veux rire à en pleurer. Je veux chanter à n'en finir. Je veux faire des rencontres qui bouleverseront ma vie. Je veux flâner en terrasse avec mes amis. Je veux boire jusqu'à l'ivresse. Je veux danser jusqu'à l'étourdissement. Je veux faire l'amour jusqu'au matin. Je veux aimer de tout mon être. Je veux des enfants, je veux un neveu ou une nièce, à qui j'apprendrai à profiter de la vie. Je veux vieillir, et me dire que je l'ai croquée jusqu'au trognon cette putain de vie !
Ma France,
Je vais vivre. Je le fais pour moi. Je le fais pour vous, mes amis qui avez peur. Pour vous montrer qu'on peut dépasser cette peur. Pour vous montrer comment continuer à vivre. Et je le fais pour eux, partis trop tôt. Ces étoiles qui n'ont pas jouit de la vie comme elles auraient dû. Parce que c'est ça la vie, jouir du moment présent.
Monde qui est nôtre,
Relève toi et montre leur ! Ils ne gagneront pas ! L'union fait la force.

Re-post. One of the first pictures I've taken as a photographer during in this city I frequently visit every year. It was in April 2010. All my thoughts are with the victims of this tragedy. All my love and good vibes to the people of Paris and my fellow french citizens.
And don't forget the motto of the city of Paris:
"Fluctuat Nec Mergitur" (Tossed but no sunk).

I could not sleep last night ... I had to put my thoughts and feelings into music, and I wanted to give something to the victims of last Friday's attacks.
So here it is, my small contribution: a musical tribute.
It's straight out of the piano, I'm not 100% satisfied with the way I played it, but that's the best I could get so far.
I wish I had put a video instead of the still image but I only have my 5D mkI with me right now. I might give it an update soon.
May love, friendship, humanism and compassion be our goals.

Heute Morgen habe ich meine Lichterkette am Fenster des Balkons zu einem Herz der Anteilnahme geformt.

Paris ist von einer albtraumhaften Terrorserie heimgesucht worden. Attentäter schossen an sechs Orten um sich, im Club Bataclan nahmen sie Hunderte Gäste stundenlang in Geiselhaft. 129 Menschen sind tot, 352 verletzt, 99 von ihnen in kritischem Zustand.
Ein Deutscher unter den Opfern.
Das Konzert der amerikanischen Band Eagles of Death Metal im Pariser Konzerthaus Bataclan wurde zum Blutbad mit 89 Toten.
