Wanted to share one of my first shots of our new little lab Jax... Our family is in full on puppy mode now (it's like having a new baby in the house), so I haven't had too many opportunities to photograph just him yet.

These pups grow up so fast, so I wanted to capture at least one portrait of him at the 2 month mark. You'll likely be seeing a bunch more of Jax in the near future, and I'll be trying some different lighting and compositions w/ him... I figured that I should start simple, especially considering I'm a bit sleep deprived since he arrived. I think Jax is ready for it though, as he's a real pro in front of the camera! ;)

Words fail. Cannot begin to describe how much we all will miss this amazing dog. So grateful to have had Jax in our lives for the last nearly 12 years. Echo will so miss her partner in crime so very much.

During tv time, JAX nestles in on the back of the love seat in my hair...I love his soft sweet look. There re so many ways I know he is 'special'....but hair playing tops the list! Happy Caturday everyone.
