then there's ender, which @ded released recently. it works with node.js to let you build your own libraries based on a more modular approach. instead of relying on someone else to decide what's worthy of being included, you have to power to build what you want. @ded is tackling a hard problem in a really nice way here.

The next version of JavaScript is called ECMAScript 6 (the current one is ECMAScript 5). This version will be a standard by the end of 2014, but you can already use it now, on current engines.
