Evening guest in the bedroom, quiet and non intrusive, although I was told they will pee on you if you try to pick them up.
Java was being a very good model for me! As dinner got closer, Java got a bit sleepy. She had been going a bit crazy before so it's no wonder she got tired!
Central Java (Indonesian: Provinsi Jawa Tengah) is a province of Indonesia. The administrative capital is Semarang. It is one of six provinces on the island of Java. The province of Central Java is 32,548.20 km2 in area; approximately a quarter of the total land area of Java. Its population is 32,864,000 (As of 2009[update]), making it the third most-populous province in Indonesia after West Java and East Java, and constituting a bit less than one quarter of the crowded island's population.
Central Java is also a cultural concept that includes the Special Area and city of Yogyakarta. However, administratively the city and surrounding region has been part of a separate special region since Indonesian independence.
“Panji Amabar Pasir” is a theatre performance about culture migration, based on research of Javanese classic stories: Panji. The stories were born from past realm of Javanese culture, later expanded to the entire South East Asia, and lived until now. It’s not the Panji stories that became the point of the performance, but the narratives of the historical and cultural movements caused by Panji stories. The narratives are then blended with a story about a family of Javanese Panji mask dancer who transmigrate to Borneo, by selling their land and an uncompleted house in Java. Performed in Omahkebon Guest House, Bantul, Yogyakarta, November 29 & 30, 2013. Photos by Pieter Andas P.
