The best coffee shop in Michigan's Upper Peninsula - Java Joe's in St. Ignace. Joe and Sandy are super nice people and the coffee and food are excellent.

Villagers in Ngadiwono, East Java, watch the Kuda Lumping ceremony unfold. The youngest (bottom right) is a member of the group of performers, learning the moves and proudly wearing his costume. Someday, he will join them in their annual trance ritual as one of the animal spirits summoned to the town square.

This is a photo I took of a Java Finch bird while attending a bird sanctuary in the U.K.
The Java Finch/Sparrow is about 15–17 cm in length from the beak to its tip of tail feathers. The adult is unmistakable, with its grey upperparts and breast, pink belly, white-cheeked black head, red eye-ring, pink feet and thick red bill.
