Java is a programming language originally developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems and released in 1995 as a core component of Sun Microsystems’ Java platform. The language derives much of its syntax from C and C++ but has a simpler object model and fewer low-level facilities. Java applications are typically compiled to byte code (class file) that can run on any Java Virtual Machine (JVM) regardless of computer architecture. This programming language is a general-purpose concurrent class based object oriented programming language, specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers “write once, run anywhere”.

Introducing Mr. Java..this is my new adopted puppy. He's a lab/corgi/basset hound mix of sorts. I don't know the proportioning of each but i'll say one of the parents was probably a full-blown lab. He has wide stocky legs like a basset or a corgi though.

He's got a very driven personality and is determined to play at almost all times. He'll follow at my heels just about everywhere and since learning how to bark, has been my personal un-snoozeable alarm clock.

I wish i had more pictures of him to date but he's a tough subject with all of his energy and no yard to let him run free..so that will be a great shooting challenge for me.

Spotted in Jawa Tengah (Central Java) on the slopes of the fertile Gunung Ungaran (mount Ungaran). Have yet to find a positive Identification for this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
