# 19 - Jason Anderson. Anderson was drafted by the Yankees out of the University of Illinois in the 10th Round (308th overall) of the 2000 amateur draft. He made his Staten Island debut that same year, going 6-5 with a 4.03 ERA in 15 starts. He came back the following season to start 5-1, with a 1.70 ERA in 7 starts before being promoted. In 2003, he became the first Staten Island Yankee to reach the majors as a Yankee in 2003.
41 - Chien Ming Wang. Wang was signed by the Yankees as an undrafted free agent in 2000. He made his professional debut with Staten Island in 2000, going 4-4 with a 2.48 ERA in 14 starts. After shoulder surgery and a missed 2001 season, he returned to Staten Island in 2002, going 6-1, with a 1.72 ERA in 13 starts. By 2005, Wang became a mainstay in the New York Yankee rotation.
