Perhaps next year every speaker should be made to perform a magic trick. Jared Spool's trick was excellent!
Jared Spool presented a panel called "Magic and Mental Models: Using Illusion to Simplify Designs" and, in this segment, Jeff helped demonstrate an optical illusion which ended up involving a spiral-patterned disc attached to a power drill (not pictured here).
